i give you another reason: if you dont and your hair is gone one day, czecha, feelsbad and their gang are going to make fun of you, or worse, tell you they were right...
Bro I am more "pilled" than them. As much as they whine and say hair is everything they still do nothing about it. I had 3 transplants in the span of 4 years to change my situation.

I mean i would rather wound my scalp for 20 mins every couple of weeks than turn into a beta b**ch eventually by f*****g with my most potent hormone

I wish i had a choice to not use this sh*t, but i would most likely suicide if i went NW7 so it's either side effects or death for me
Derma alone probably won't save my hair anyway. Maybe just give some temporary gains to the midscalp and crown. Doctor said I have to take finasteride.

I would give it another shot, your sides from last time don't really seem that serious and might subside with time.
Thanks bro this is what I thought as well. I read that the watery sperm side effect subsides for most people. The other one was more concerning but maybe it wasn't a big deal either.

Only motivation you need is to look at your hair in the mirror

I can't remember that clearly, was a couple of years ago now but i don't think i had any sides on finasteride, with dutasteride the only side i get is weaker orgasms, that might be a deal breaker for some but it is a price worth paying for me personally. Like i said give it another shot, nothing to lose.

Took my first finasteride pill today. I will use this thread to document my journey now.. hopefully in a little while I will report no serious side effects and thickening of the crown/midscalp :D

If I get serious side effects and they don't subside, I will try topical.

Hey bud, pleased to hear you’re still enjoying the most recent transplant. As well as topical fina take a look in to topcal duta, there has been much positive feedback about. I think a hair transplant doctor in Belgian sells it online, but you have a consultation first to discuss suitability etc. He also sell topical fina.

A mate of had hair transplant at 28 mid scalp was very thin prior. Nearly 12 yrs on he has same full head albeit slightly thinner crown, which doesn’t bother him. He takes 0.5mg fina daily but often goes weeks without it (which I know is supposed to be bad).

Thanks bro! Good to hear from you again. Yeah, I signed up to just one dating app 4-5 months after the transplant.. even though my hairline was still somewhat thin at that point (atm just a couple months later it's already full and that's while the result is only 50% in) my profile has been getting plenty of attention, went on dates with 4 different girls and had a fling with one of them. I already have a date scheduled with another woman this weekend. Later on I might add Tinder and other apps, and start messaging girls directly on social media.

I think I'll follow your mate's path and take 0.5mg daily with breaks inbetween.

Regardless of my crown/midscalp situation (which will most likely improve with finasteride soon) as long as I keep this hairline, it seems that I will just keep going on dates regularly until I settle down with one girl.

Good for you man, great news, you took action and it has improved your life!

Would be great to see how your transplant turned out, PM if you’re comfortable

The only side effect my mate had was slightly weaker erections from time to time, I told him that is down to being over 35!

I took finasteride for a similar duration and experienced similar side effects along with brain fog. Just use minoxidil now which has grown some fine hair on my hairline and seems to have maintained my crown. I'd closely monitor any side effects of the drug since you already started. Personally I wouldn't take take it since I have gyno and skinnyfat but since you don't seem to have those traits I'd say give it a few weeks.

I may drop back to .5mg soon. Ever since I went to 1mg I've been getting brain fog and depression. At .5mg I had 0 issues.

i took finasteride had horrible sides
got off it
then tried again and feel fine so yea i don't know if its even working
Just adjust doses depending on how you feel. I wouldn't advise the cold turkey quit because I see on propeciahelp all the time people cold turkey and it tosses their hormones out of wack. If I ever quit ill taper off.

@Wolf Pack @iCloud what do y'all think?
Having seen pictures of your mid-scalp, I would start on minoxidil/microneedling. Finasteride will help for sure, but it’s a serious drug and only you can decide if it is worth it for you.

I’ve been on dutasteride for a year now, and for me it is worth it. But being a woman I don’t have the sexual side effects.

I started finasteride and will see where it leads in a few months. Micro needling and minoxidil sound like a hassle and it's something I'd rather avoid for now. With finasteride I just pop a pill and move on, no need to spend a lot of time taking care of my scalp.
