This KGF talk has me wondering about using Dermatopoietin again for this experiment:

DERMATOPOIETIN® activates expression of all skin tissue relevant growth and differentiation factors like HGF, KGF and TNF-alpha from the upper layer of epidermis. These growth factors are sensed by the neighbor cells and induce global tissue remodeling process including skin cells proliferation and migration as well as controlled synthesis or degradation of extracellular matrix.

hmm but how will you apply it? once a week after DRing?

Everyday before topical application with .25mm derma rolling involved for better absorption. The derma roller is the difference maker in the topical game as well ... and wait an hour or 2 after the deep rolling day. Will use it wit minoxidil.

that looks really good!

Wow, I can't wait to see if this works or not. There are few reviews about the product in the webpage but doesn't say anything to me (similar to thousands of reviews from normal hair supplements). I really hope you give us good news in some weeks!

You have to use it with a derma roller to get results.. The molecular weight is pretty big but with a small derma roller.. 0.25mm ..you are laughing..

I will also add copper peptides once a day. I am throwing the kitchen sink to my hairloss.. again LOL

Read the Indian study. Guys who didn't respond to minoxidil had good response to DR+minoxidil
Thank you for pointing that out, been a month or more since I read the study, had forgotten that fact. Thank you also super for the personal experience.

Second session successfully done earlier, got the skin redder and sorer this time.

Interesting Benjt, I am with you with ..
what do you think about the hidrated scalp in order to be more effective in DR?

Armando, I think you're about right about with your theory, Androgen increases leads to increase sebum, abnormal keratinization and desmaquation. Pro inflammatory are activated and results in Androgen Alopecia.

Androgen increases leads to increase sebum

I've always been convinced of that. My vertex has always been more oily than the rest of my scalp. And often unbearibly itchy. Hair loss/sebum excess/itch seem totally linked in my case.

Photo on left: April 2006: using finasteride, minoxidil, retin-a. Just prior to starting needling and dropping finasteride.

Photo on right: August 2009 - three years later... been off of finasteride for three years, using just needling, minoxidil with most of the topicals mentioned in my posts. Both temples are fully grown with left slightly lagging, nice thick vellus defining the hairline. Just prior to my botched experiment with topical DIM.

Good news guys. I believe this is working better than expected. Check out my 03 October and 18 October changes. I know it's a not huge deal but I feel this is going to interesting places and I'm not using finasteride and I have been balding for 15 years (reached nw5 diffused status). The only new thing I added about 8 days ago was fresh semen (yes, I'm desperate but I don't care about taboo things, I just want real results with no side effects)
but

I take the same shot of my head using the same camera in the same position. Zoom in and let me know if you see a big difference or not. I'm very excited about the next few months.

Squeegee, you've been dermarolling for 4 years?

Wait, I read that wrong. Did you continue rolling after 2009, and what was your regimen 2006-2009?
Thanks for the pics!

Guys, just slight warning: be careful with putting minoxidil straight after wounding, obviously it depends on person but because of it i failed my medical for racing driving licence, turns out my pulse rate was 110-120 bpm in resting mode, the doctor who checked me almost immediately wanted to admit me to hospital but when i explained what i did in the morning after wounding and checking with him loads of hes books etc. he let me go. The good news is after around 36h it went back to normal to around 60bpm.

you should never apply minoxidil straight after wounding but thanks for the heads up... it is best to wait at least 24 hours!

Guys, don't play with fire... Minoxidil is safe for people without heart issues under normal conditions, but applying just after dermarolling can bring unexpected results as mentioned above. If you decide to do it you should consider having regular medical checks to discard heart problems, but to be honest, I'd better not put my heart on risk for a bunch of hairs.

So you think the succes is thanks to the topical semen? Or just the DR?

@squeegee: Maybe we can make an accurate list of topicals having enough proof to aid the DR? I don't know: B12, Semen, KGF..?

I don't believe semen is the reason for success but there is good science behind it so I'm excited to see what will happen in the next 4 week with using it. Dermarolling is the key item in my regime, I've used minoxidil / nizoral before and I did not see any key changes like the ones I have witnessed in the last 9 weeks.

I'm not sure about the regrowth, as light conditions are not the same on both pics. But it is clear he managed to stop his hair loss completely for those three years pretty nice. Thats pretty good.
