What Norwood do you think I am? What treatment options should I consider? The first pic is 2 1/2 years ago the others are today. I am 25, thank you guys for feedback. finasteride just sketches me out due to side affects, any other options welcome.

I think you hair has just matured. I see no further signs of hair loss from you. If I were in your shoes with my current knowledge - I would hold off on treatments until you start noticing more miniaturization.

I agree with him. There isn't really any miniaturization that I can see and your hair hasn't really changed the past 2,5 years. Just have an eye on it every 3 months and if you do notice more recession.. jump on finasteride. It's your best bet.

You on finasteride? Do you/did you have any sides? That’s the only reason making me not jump on it.

Yes I am and no I don't have sides. You can look at my thread to see my results. I'm not even 5 months on it and I already made some big gains in combination with minoxidil.

If you do jump on Finasteride, I’m almost certain that you will gain nothing. Finasteride isn’t for you, atleast not right now, you’re not even balding. As Niki99 said though, if you do start noticing miniaturization, finasteride should halt it with no side effects... atleast this seems to be case for most people.

that’s a killer deal. I tried taking it for a little and started getting sides so I’m pretty worried. Hopefully if anything I continue to be a very slow receder until/if ever a cure comes up!

Yea looks fine to me man. Still very thick. If you notice your hair starting to thin/noticeable change within the next 6 months/1 year consider treatments.

Because I started taking a .5 of finasteride awhile ago and had chest pains/heart palpitations and anxiety but I don’t know if it was just me overthinking it due to me reading all of the negative stories people have had on finasteride.

I hate speaking on sides because it seems like I am silencing out the minority.

With that being said sides are uncommon but do exist. The specific ones you mentioned I have never heard of while taking finasteride... heart palpitations and chest pains are associated with minoxidil. Therefore If I had to make a decision, I’d say its in your head.

When people ask me if I have sides I often say “no”, and its true as it hasn't interfered with my life. But in all complete honesty, I do think semen is more watery. Nothing drastic, doubt many would notice but it exists. Also, I noticed I nut much less. Usually can only nut once a day when I'm sexually active.

NW1.5. Just keep an eye on it and dont obsess over it, it still aint nothing. Keep the obsession till it get real worse (hopefully not), enjoy your locks in the mean time. I think you should start researching treatments and start taking quality and consistent photos of your hair from all sides.

@baba_yaga you actually think I’m at a Norwood 1.5??? Damn I might be psyching myself out then, I can definitely see a little bit of thinning though, I hope you are right! I was doing laser therapy, still do just not as much and take nutrafol everyday.... it’s been 3 months on nutrafol haven’t seen any serious changes I will keep you guys posted to let you know if it actually does anything. I was going to hop on Finasteride but if you/others think I’m around a 1.5-2 I’m holding off. Thank you for the feedback.
