I definitely obsess over it, I’m surprised you don’t think it’s bad. My dads dad is 70ish and is balding, my moms dad is 80 and has a great head of hair if not any hair loss at all. My dad is 48 and this is his current hair:

His hair is fine for his age, but you dont know how it would go for you. You may reach his stage in 5 years.
start minoxidil then finasteride when u become 18. Give 1-2 years between the treatments to know which is working. If you notice rapid hair loss, hop on both asap.

I’m 26years old in a month! I had troubles with other fina though what other solutions do you recommend?

What @baba_yaga is trying to tell you is to hop on treatments(AA) now as you’re at a stage of hairloss where it doesnt bother you. If it were to progress to a uncomfortable state, it is much much much harder to regrow than it is right now for you to maintain.

@baba_yaga what is oral minoxidil? I literally am just taking that nutrafol sh*t haven’t seen any improvement in almost 4 months gonna give it 6. @WaccWaccWacc not to much history of balding my dads hair has obviously receded a little over the years and my moms side is flawless. I’ve noticed my hair has thinned a little bit though that’s why I get so paranoid and the fact that I’ve always had a high hairline.... crossing my fingers some cure comes out before my hair gets bad!

Lol, his father has great hair for his age and yet you suggest him to jump on treatments with potential serious side effects.
Zwillard 90, your hair looks good, you got slightly recessed/mature hairline which is normal for your age. If i were you I wouldn’t obsess with it and I suggest you to move on with your life.

Does not exclude the chance that he'd be much worse than his father. If he care about his hair, he must start now PREVENTATIVE treatments like finasteride.

@Pleasenotsoearly @baba_yaga i don’t want to use finasteride/duta or minoxidil. What about RU58841??? I really want to maybe try that do you know much about it? Can I do EOD? Does it lose effectiveness or what if I get good results and stop for a little? Thanks! That other sh*t just freaks me out this seems like a good option

Can’t tell you much about RU58841.
You should monitor your hair for signs of miniaturization and thinning.
I wouldn’t recommend starting treatments (and by treatments i mainly mean androgen inhibitors) unless it’s absolutely necessary and you can tell for sure that your hair has significantly changed in the last couple years.
Don’t mess with your hormones for no reason, finasteride isn’t a sugar pill.
And while a lot of people supposedly have little sides or no sides ( or so they say, it’s hard to determine cause on this forum people get really defensive about this drug) there are people like me who are still recovering from this drug after discontinuation around 2 years ago.
imagine this, you took last pill more than 700 days ago and you still got watery semen and occasional ball ache with weak orgasms.
Point is, don’t mess with your hair unless it’s really going and you know it’ll psychologically affect you.

While I completely agree that hair loss sucks, some people here let this insecurity to control their lives. Being in a such environment is only going to reinforce that and you’ll perceive hair loss as something more devastating than it actually is.

About to be 26yrs old and coming up on 6 months using Nutrafol, haven’t noticed much I’ll let you judge. Still trying to figure out how to apply and how much RU to use. Will continue to use nutrafol and keep you all updated, thanks. Compare with pictures earlier in thread, Let me know if you know anything about RU!

yeah dude I’m tripping a bit on it. I’m too scared to take fina though. I tried and it fucked with me... I wanted to try topical fina or RU. I’m just praying nutrafol maybe helps a little bit or I just keep losing hair EXTREMELY slow. What are you gonna do about your hair, yours isn’t too bad either
