You can't see it in the photos but my hair is actually brown with natural blond highlights, it would be so much work to either use Toppik or a system to match the original color.

Plus the anxiety of using a system would destroy me, I don't know how you would deal with it.

its a taste of system life, for a period of 6 months i was heavily diffused but hid it with toppik. yea . . . . it was a ****ing nightmare lol. never again. i was almost caught when this guy ruffled my hair, he must have thought it looked weird, ****ing embarassing

What is this obsession with temple points? Without obsessed guys like you on hair loss forums, I would never have noticed mine were gone.

You have to wonder if we're not just obsessive in the end. Nobody else would notice lack of temple points.

Yeah it's kind of nice to have them, but not having them doesn't make you look weird or uglier.

I've seen plenty of NW1's who don't even have temple points and they look fine.

This is the last place where you want to waste your precious grafts in my opinion.

I may have a full head of hair but my sides including temple points are absolutely obliterated by the steroids I've taken. Its finally caught up to me. Suprisingly enough though my hair is thicker then ever but the sides are getting raped. Think Harvey spectAR from suites. My sides are starting to receed in like that despite my actual hairline being fine. Who was I to kid taking the most androgenic steroids on the market ha.

I can literally see the whole thinning and discolouration.


No biggie though. I'm having 1000 fue grafts put in either Jan or Feb. Figuring out a good date with the patient advisor.

That is a brilliant phrase. These traits are the bane of my existence. Even with my injuries, I have been working out. To the point that recently a dental assistant told me out of the blue that I look like a bodybuilder (I was in a full sleeve shirt). This was flattering. But then I constantly see men in my travels who have bigger pinkies than my thumb. My forearms are like girls arms next to theirs (and they don't even work out). I just don't have the skeletal structure to compete, and there is nothing I can do to change that. It kills me.

Bodybuilding and actually looking like you lift is all drugs. A lot of work involved, and without knowledge on dieting, and training it's all pointless.

Your girl frame will never look like u lift unless u take a lot of steroids and pray for good genetic response. Big bones dudes always look big, even with litthe amounts of muscle.

My temple points were untouched. Look at my surgery pictures. No way I was going to waste grafts on my temple points when I had a NW5 that needed to be covered with 2000 grafts.

I had my temples reconstructed, well put in really. I never EVER really had any filled temples. It was like I was born a Norwood 3. Growing up all the kids used to make fun of me and call me dracula cause of my widows peak at like NINE.

Wow, can't believe your hairline high up to begin with from what you describe. Well, it sounds good for you now mate. My temple points have always been there, I presume they were stronger before. I have weaker ones now, but they are still there so it's not too bad. I think they are important but it depends on how your forehead is too and overall face.

My juvenile hairline was pretty damn low. I am currently edging closer towards Norwood 2 on finasteride as opposed to Norwood 2.5. It's very slow progress but it is happening. Will need a transplant most likely but it's not currently bothering me that much.

It really dont matter what people who try to put you down appearence wise or any way for that matter think of you, i been there and done that worried wise, it made things worse, soon as i stopped caring it was like a weight was lifted, sure the emphasis should be on who ever is judging you but thats there the same with anything else, its not just bald people who get crap. You can cry until the cows come home, they will only diss you with something else if it wasnt your baldness, when does it end? they diss your baldness, you "fix" it, they diss your ears, nose etc you "fix" it, again where does it end? noone wants people dissing them obviously we are human beings with emotions, but you can still not give a damn to the point it dont rule your life and it isnt on your mind.

The thing is with this piece is that once again the sufferer is blamed for his affliction. These ladies think all they would have to do is pop some pills and problem solved. They dont account for potential sides or early aggressive loss. Let them discover hair loss for themselves and drop them in the gauntlet, then they will soon realize that escape is not as easy and straightforward as they presume.

The takeaway message should have been - bald guys are human too and its time we were treated as such! If it werent for the cowering, sniveling specimen of a bald man they provided. Hurrr.

I don't understand why more bald guys don't do what Fred did... From what he said, he didn't exactly have a large donor zone, had extensive hairloss and couldn't take finasteride, and the result was a massive transformation. It's far from perfect, hair styling options are very limited, but at least nobody will view you as bald, you won't be "the bald guy" anymore, surely that's the best option for anyone going bald who can afford it.
