just started back on CB will be using it for 6 months at least, also not using any other DHT blocking treatment no finasteride or dutasteride so if CB works i will know. will report back if i see any results.

What %, frequency and vehicle are you using?
me: 2%, ED 2.5ml night + (sometimes) 1ml morning, eth/bg/transcutol (~80/10/10).

of course no effect so far, it's extremely too early. itching... well, I have limited itching, so I cannot report on this. I don't know if it's controlling my sebum, since I'm in a period of excess sebum anyway.
Hairloss... well, in the last 2 weeks is back down to a very low amount, but it cannot be the CB (yet); it's because I'm out of an effluvium.
yes, I'm also using minoxidil + some other antiandrogens (progesterone, etc.), and I've started oral seti since some days.

Looks like it's slightly better than minoxidil. I guess that's cool. This is just Proof Of Concept.
Hopefully they get better results with a smarter dosage in the next test.

Reminder.

On CB0301, 17 of 23 patients either had no change or improvement in their hair density.
On minoxidil, 21 of 25 patients either had no change or improvement in their hair density.
On placebo, 15 of 25 patients either had no change or improvements in their hair density.

The probability of decreasing hair density dropped from 40% when doing nothing, 26% when using CB0301.

I guess my only other question is if this drug potentially preserves the follicles, rather than just hiding the problem like minoxidil. I was under the impression that CB had a mechanism that addressed miniaturization.

Why are you giving up on this? This treatment is showing modest improvement after six months. How much benefit are you expecting?

The idea of CB0301 is that it prevents androgens from affecting the hair folicles, so it has the benefits of propecia (sort of) without the side effects. If it does have side effects, it will be new side effects that will be discovered later on.

They are also developing this drug to fight acne.

It's a modest improvement after six months, also from a small sample size. All we can conclude at this point is that CB0301 is in fact a decent prospect. It's also a different mechanism than everything else, so you'd be able to combine it with other treatments. If it came out today, we'd talk about a big-4.

For fighting acne, I think I've had some success in the past month with adapalene+benzoic acid.

I'm debating that myself.

Finasteride sounds extremely risky. I'll get fat thighs, lose my boner, etc.

CB0301 in a group buy means uncertain purity, and $1000/year cost.
