Former Popstar winner Gareth Gates has been relentlessly mocked online after a came on tv sporting a combover.

Perhaps he is better to just have his hair loss on display as it was last year - at least he didn't get mocked for a combover. Or maybe he just needs to learn from the master hair loss disguiser jude law:

This 'style' wasn't much better either. In fact, this is what I'm afraid of looking like. Once you've lost so much from your temples, and your forelock gets that shitty, I don't know. There's just not much that can be done with that. If you comb it forward, you look ridiculous. The only choice at that point is to shave it, which means game over.

Terrible comb over. Jude Law could get away with doing it in that picture as he still had thicker hair and it was wavy. Gates comb over is crap as the back and sides are so long, his hair is generally thin and also his forelock is largely gone too in one of the pictures. Growing it out it looks mentally and physically weak.

He would be better off doing something like this for now.

Shave will be game over but he might have reached that stage now unless he can do something like above. Either way he has the money and donor hair to get a full head most likely so who cares.

The b****s would deserve it, no doubt. However, this is the only treatment bald people are ever going to get. Whatever yoy do (cure it, don't cure it, transplant, wig, etc.), you'll be mocked. Balding is a serious social crime today.

As stupid as it is, he looks good in comparison to shaving it bald, and having a visible horse shoe.

What works in his favor is the quality donor, sides, and temple points he has managed to maintain.


Most people wont be able to get over the stigma that he has an aggressive comb over, even if it is managed, and kept in line.

I actually disagree - in the early stages - nw3 or under - balding is hidden by having more hair not less.

When I shaved mine I looked very receeding and thinned but when I grew it out I look so much better.

Here are good examples of concealing hair styles:

So there are some good examples of men who look good now and would look worse bald. I think people say shave your hair too early in the hair loss battle. My advice is to keep your hair until atleast nw4 stage. Anything earlier than that is too soon and will make you look worse.

Plus, not many people are norwood spotters. I remember saying to my ex that jude law is going bald and she would believe me and insisted that was just his hair line (this is around 2008 when he was balding but maybe not significantly bald).
