Before Bashar's father, Hafez Asad, they weren't even muslims, just some very closed strange sect. A mix of christian, muslim and pagan. As you know, Hafez seized a power in 1970-s.

And there is a paragraph in Syrian Constitution that the president could be only muslim but alawites weren't muslims. So Hafez, being alawite himself, was forced to join either Shia or Sunni branch. Obviously, he couldn't join Sunni (they hated him) but easily merged with Shia. That's all.

I wanted to imply that governments should prevent ghettoization and radicalization, without fear of being "branded" as racist or intolerant and shoudl get rid of those who refuse to integrate and those who support, passively or actively, terrorists and criminals. You can't have entire neighborhoods turned into no-go black holes where even the police is afraid to go in!

There should be special laws for immigrates and any immigrate should stick to these laws until he stays for like 3 or 4 years and they see his attitude and how he's doing and then decide to accept him as a real citizen of the country or not. i think this will be fair enough.

Yes it is. In case of a disaster/apocalypse if I'm not dead right away I think I'll randomly kill/torture some of those who mocked me if I can before getting kiled, just to know how it feels like. People seems to have fun making me suffer, I'd like to experience it first-hand. I think I've earnt this bit of karmic right by now. But I'm not gonna do it otherwise, only if society and law collapse, hopefully it won't happen, I love my job and, besides, I'm too frail, weak and sick to survive an apocalypse.

I think to survive an apocalypse will depend on your intelligence. IMO intelligence is far more important than strength, so you're more likely to survive than the Chad.
