@champpy
It's been 3 weeks since the procedure. Do you feel a reduction in inflammation, hair loss reduced, or anything like that?

Everything that ever gave me regrowth immediately stopped the painful scalp feel and the itching, then the shedding reduced, and regrowth slowly followed. If you don't feel any change then this might not have a bright future. By the 3 week mark you should definitely be able to tell if something is happening.
That doesn't really apply here. Totally different process.

You are looking at this relative to a reduction of inflammation. While this may correlate with your experience, which may be an autoimmune response to DHT (inflammation->shed no inflammation -> no shed), in the case of Chammpy, he is attempting to extend the length of a specific portion of the healing process that would produce new follicles. Localized inflammation is not addressed by this process.

Almost on week 4 post procedure.
Last week i was happy with the look of my hair. I was hopeful that changes were happening.
But since this past monday things have gone to sh*t.
My hair had felt like it was getting more texture, like it was more healthy than it had been. Then all the sudden the past 5 days it seems lifeless and flat.
Also in the back of my head where i had the most needles inserted, its not looking any better. Dare i say the loss is progressing.
I know its still early on in the process, but im starting to lose hope that this will help at all.

Stick in there mate. The only way this works... is if you report back after 12 weeks and share 12 week results :)

For all we know what you’re feeling now at 4 weeks is what all the people involved in the trial went through.

4 weeks on the dot. Here are some update photos. It's 4:30 in the morning here and it's as good as it's going to get. These photos clearly show there's been no regrowth and possibly more loss in the past 4 weeks. I wasn't expecting regrowth but I thought the hair would be healthier and at least a little thicker in that area. Here they are for your viewing pleasure, but they made me cry

I know with the derma roller that I didn't see results for about 3 months and as this will have the same action so I wouldn't be too concerned yet. You can worry yourself crazy with this hair-existential angst!

Thanks for the update @champpy ! Much appreciated.

This is why I suggested you getting a USB microscope. That way you can follow any early progress up close.

Anyway, you say you lost more hair. Maybe that’s true. But if so it’s not that strange since you did inflict damage to your scalp. If this works it will all come back, and more.

And like so many others have said, 4 weeks is nothing. I know it feels like an eternity when you are looking in the mirror 20 times per day, but really, it’s nothing.

If we haven’t seen anything in 6 months I will ve disapointed.

God, what makes me feel so sad is that we get all of these studies, things that look SURE to work in theory and in small-scale testing. We hype about it, maybe it’s the end to our misery, but it turns out to be just another “yeah.. it didn’t turn out quite how we expected”. If we applied all the theories that should work, we would be getting amazing regrowth from the microneedliny, T-flavanone, Seti, RU, dutas, f*****g castor oil, but it’s always hit and miss. I hate being so negative but I feel doomed.

One thing i noted on the study was that the actual participants average rating for satisfaction was on average only 6/10. Considering the men are all stated to have hair loss refractory to treatment that seems a bit underwhelming when the results seem so positive. So maybe this treatment isnt as promising as it first seemed. Or maybe, like prp, it doesnt work very well on men with quite aggressive hair loss

Or it’s just too small a study to make any conclusions. That’s often the case with a lot of these studies unfortunately.
