g.i. joey, you want cold pressed castor oil, chemicals, hexane free.

Both oral and topical would yield benefits. I use topical, but will try to use oral soon.

If you do oral for the love of your bowels don't take more than 2-3ml a day. Cold Pressed and Hexane free like Norwood One stated. Also expect to grow more body hair is using oral.

I've been mixing a 1:1 ratio of minoxidil and castor oil and applying (topically)on average nightly for @ 2 months now.
I'm disappointed so far to report that I am not noticing any improvement. I'm thinking I'll add DMSO into the mix. Your thoughts are welcomed.
I put on minoxidil then put on castor oil.

I know I should be using DMSO/DMI, but I haven't gotten the time to get those things, hesitant to mix them as DMSO is a solvent that will pick up ANYTHING. So people on this board, if you are experimenting, make sure you have the DMSO in a glass bottle and use a glass pipette. Not plastic, you don't want plastic residues, chemicals in your body! I don't think minoxidl does enough for a penetration enhancer.

Search up beauty aura castor oil 100% Pure on amazon. Not too expensive. I want to start oral but not sure as all the bottles say "DO NOT INGEST". If anyone has any tips on that, please do share. The oral route may also provide benefits.

Oh yeah I plan on revisiting finasteride. by next month.
I stopped finasteride. maybe erroneously because I was not seeing any results.
Had been using it for over a year before I quit it over 3 years ago.
BTW I'm not seeing any progress with minoxidil. either.

Damn that is unfortunate, seems like big 2 failed you. I can understand minoxidil as that is a pretty weak treatment that only works in maybe 1/3rd of men, but you're very unlucky if you're unresponsive to finasteride.

I:D walker i'm on the same regimen +S5 cream. Having a lot of hairline shed. Not even sure if that's a good thing, but i'll stick it out for another month and see if my hair quality improves.

Does shedding mean regrowth and its working? Does it mean i'm screwed and its time to go to finasteride? No one knows.

Thanks for your empathy HL23,
My hair is pretty far gone (frontal-mid vertex) and maybe surrendering is a more rational recourse,
but denial and my old stubborn tendencies are still in stormy defiance. I'll give finasteride. one more whirl fwiw and in the meanwhile work on fabricating myself a more superior suit of Teflon. :)

Hello NWoodOne,
I may look into the S5 cream if your sit. improves. I''m crossing my fingers for you.
Lol.,In the meantime I'm going to get some DMSO and make me a cocktail of hair loving ingredients just for the hell of it.

I.D Walker, screw it man. I went from a Norwood-2 to a Norwood 2.5 - almost 3 in the past month.

Once you cross 3, it's no more time to play with experimental and anecdotal evidence of effective treatments. I just ordered finasteride from alldaychemist. Plan on taking 0.25mg 2x a week and increase based on libido/side effects. Crossing fingers I get 0 sides, Norwood-0 and mysteriously, a ferrari in my driveway..all from finasteride.

Will still continue on S5 1x a day, but if/when I see any regrowth and improvement, it will be tough to pin it on S5, castor oil or minoxidil anymore.

Can't gamble anymore brah's, **** just got real.

I know nearly these exact feels. Seems like I went from Norwood 2.5 to 3 in the past week. I can't wait anymore, but I also don't think it will be cheap to get a script through local doctors. I'm so close to just getting it from the same place you did.

S5 is a weak anti androgen from all i've researched about it. Might slow you down a tad, but nothing that finasteride will do.

Really was hoping for 2 years something might come out in 2015 or even 2016 so we wouldn't need to jump on finasteride, but most of these products that are in the pipeline including Seti, Pollichem, Replicel, Histogen are not here and there's so much red tape around releasing new medication/treatments in the US that it might take a while.

We don't have time to waste.

At this point I am fine with being on finasteride. I want something that promotes better regrowth.

At this point, I don't even want a Norwood 1. I just want a hairline, instead of a hair peninsula.

If you email Kane, you can probably start a Seti group buy.

by putting pressure on them,
doing a purity test. ..
But if this is a "big groupbuy, chances are quality will be there. As there is too much at stack..

For me, 1ml castor (oral) + 500mg sulfasalazine has decreased shedding but definitely hasn't caused regrowth. I also have hairier arms, but not bad. How much castor are you guys taking? I'm thinking about taking more.

Whats up guys! Wanted to share my experience with topical seti (3-5%).
Been on it since december 2015. So month and a half probably.

Short version: Huge reduction in shed, lots of new healthy hairs sprouting all over the hairline.

Long version: i'm a diffuse thinner all over the top of my head.
My regimen before adding seti was 1 month on VitE succinate+neogenic+dermarolling+LiCl+keto shampoo(+washing hair with regular salt with iodine before shampooing). Before that, i only used keto shampoo+salt and zinc tablets.

2 weeks after adding seti, i noticed a huge decrease in shed of long thick hair. But increased shed of miniaturized hairs.
On top of that, as of today, there lots of new hairs sprouting all along my hairline. Ive never seen this many before. They are ~1cm long now. Pulling my longer hair back, there is like a 2nd hairpiece under it, albeit not as dense.

Side effects: dry lips and thirst in the morning. Thirst could be from vit e succinate.

Overall, i'm very happy so far and i hope it will keep this up. I'm gonna update in a couple months.
