Well, I'm slowly accepting my face. :freak:

Man.....get your self a wife and a kid...in fact...a lot of kids. That way you'll completely forget about your self cuz you'll wont have time for this stupidity.
I'll get bald just like you one day...but at that age, it wont matter anymore.
Social skills are by far more important then you physical appearance. It's so damn easy to see that...and if you can't see that after 30 years of your life then you're not mature enough to deal with the real life problems which are by far more harder and important then your stupid hair. Be a men for heaven sake!

That is easy to say when you have as much hair as you. Imagine you had none, looked horrible at your age? You can't.

Hatprisoner is clearly the new Taug here, nothing goes through. You're exaggerating everything about baldness.

Yeah, HP has filled Taug's vacancy nicely, The only difference is that HP is actually bald!

Ha Ha, dont know how old/bald you are* but I'd love to remind you of this when you pass 30. Every young guy says he wont care but trust me you'll feel exactly the same. You might deal with it better but you'll still hate being bald just as much.

* Quick bit of research finds you're 24 with barely noticible hairloss.

Don't know him, don't want to. Everything I saw is based in fact though. Someone who has not gone bald has NO IDEA what it feels like.

It would be like me saying "if i had AIDS, I wouldn't let it bother me". Well it's easy to say when you don't have it right?

I'm on my way to total baldness and I have gotten a hunch of how it feels already. I'm not gonna be feeling sorry for myself for the rest of my life, that's for sure. Comparing hairloss to AIDS is f*****g sick.

First of all, no one compared hairloss to AIDS. Do you know how to read?

A hunch is not feeling it. Again, if I was a Norwood 2, Norwood 3 or any of that, not only would be not in the situation, I wouldn't even be posting here. It can be proven since I didn't post before.

You don't know when you are hairloss will stop.

Sorry sir, english is not my 1st language. I bet you can write and read very well in several languages?

I know when my hairloss will stop, that is when I'm bald. That's when hairloss stops you know. Anyway, why are you posting now? Nothing's going through to you anyways.

Then maybe you should think twice before jumping to conclusions. I can write and read 2 languages.

Anyway I have seen people hairloss stop at just a NW3 for example. Not even becomes a Norwood 6 and many of those who do, have it happen when they are in their 50s and 60's.

I'm posting because I am posting my situation on a hairloss forum. Seeing what people say as well as trying to help other people in my situation. Why are you posting?

HP, when are you getting your hair transplant? That is the only thing that might change your attitude. But then again if your like Taug, that won't even put a dent in your negative thoughts about yourself.

I'm looking into options right now for that. I might even try that topical match stuff and see how it looks. I mean it doesn't hurt to try right?

As long as you try, that is all you can do.

I'd rather not think sometimes than overthink all the time.

I know my situation better than most here (although it sometimes doesn't feel like it), I'm gonna be bald in a few years. Period.

I'm posting and actually conversating, giving advice etc. You on the other hand ask for help and then when these nice ppl give you advice, you dismiss it. "I have tried everything", "that doesn't work", "I'm so miserable". When reading your posts it feels like the same broken record playing over and over again and it seems that you have made up your mind about everything already. Baldness seems to have already defeated you. That's why I wondered why you're here in the 1st place. No harm meant.

As far as the wife and kids go -done that, which you would know if you read my thread entitled "My baby's mama found a new man". Where do you get off telling me to be a man? :smack:

But if you know your english is bad why would you make an assumption that I compared hairlosd to AIDS, when I clearly did not?

Ok you do know your situation better than others. So why do you dismiss that I know how my my mind works better than others when it comes to me? See the irony thre?

You are posting because you are in aplace with people who knows something about hairloss. You can't post about your hairloss on a medical forum for example. If you don't like my posts, don't read them. Baldness has pretty much defeated me. I am stubborn and I am trying to fight it. Otherwise I might as well jump off a building. I never asked for help. I ask questions. But what people fail to realize is that thing has been defeating me for many many years. I have tried countless things many times over. You think some person who doesn't know ME, how I feel, and/or my situation, and I'm gonna go "hey yeah, you are right. i'm over hairloss. time to party woohoo!" Cmon! I listen to what people say and answer honestly, Honesty is one of the only things I have left.

I just red it...
At the time my father was dealing with male pattern baldness his first 2 months old baby died, his second child, my brother, at the age of 6 has end up in coma and is taking hard core drugs every day so he can function normally. He is taking him every day to a walk and coffee where he is always in fear that his child could get an epilepsy attack. My brother is 2 years older.
For some reason my father is very happy man....
In his whole life I never heard him say anything about stupid male pattern baldness....he was way over that. Therefor he married one beautiful woman at the time he lost almost all of his hair.
Trust me when I say beautiful....I really mean it....my mother looked like Monica Belucci when she was young.

If I have gained half of his strength I wont care how much hair I will have through my life.

I was expecting more from the men at you age. What do you think...what will every woman expect from you....your hair? :smack: :smack: :smack:
If you're so destructive in your attitude towards the life you'll wont attract no one. No body needs another depressive person by his or hers side.
What you send out to all of us young plp is that there is no meaning to life without the hair....
....my God...is it that hard?
Is that hair so important that its killing all the creativity and talents you could spend on other things.
Honestly...your depressive attitude here is spreading among us like some disease...so why are you here for?
To point some 19 year old kid who is loosing his hair to kill him self?
At that age you should be a rollmodel....
You won't find any comfort here, but you are only deepering your agony by telling all of us how depressive you are.
This goes out to HP also!
Why on earth cant you say, I DON'T CARE ABOUT IT! Im allive and healty...I can run, I can play baseball or what ever you guys play in U.S. I can pay my self a beer, read a book...go to collage, get a job, get paid for my hard work...I can dig a garden, plant a field full of tomatoes...

...and sorry for bad English...

What you said about your father only goes to show that everyone is different and being as such, take balding differently. Guys like HatPrisoner and myself can't deal with it too good. Maybe your outlook might grow pessimistic once you reach NW6 status, maybe not. From your picture, you look like Freddy Lunjenberg, who played Fred in the live-action movie for Scooby-Doo. If I looked like that I would feel pretty good about myself and I would for sure as hell not be on this site. At the same time you wonder why guys like HP and myself are on this site, since you in your youthful arrogance assume we are beyond help. Well who is actually more qualified to vent about hairloss than someone who is is bald. And what does my age have to do with anything? I'm not supposed to let balding bother me past a certain age because I'm already obsolete? Young people are always saying how when they reach thirty that they will have achieved this list of ambitious life goals, and some of them do but I can tell you that most will be lucky if they can accomplish even just one by the time they are 30.

Thing is, its much more 'normal' at 30 than it is at 20. You're no longer an outlier, you're closer to the norm.

I know a 21 y/o NW7.

Normal for who, bald guys or guys in general. I still feel like a minority despite the statistics stating that roughly half of all men are bald or balding. From my own observations when I'm out in public, my estimate is for every two to three bald men, there are at least twenty who have hair.
