Having been following the Brotzu thread like my life has been on hold, is there a way to avoid this all over again and get actual updates on this product as opposed to reading a never ending orgy of bro science posts? ;)

With how all this sh*t seems to work out, with the rampant lack of transparency on all fronts, I’d be happy to just be told point-blank: “This is at least 5 years out. “

These stupid articles that pop up every 4 months claiming a breakthrough ‘cure’, all for it to fade in to the everconsuming abyss never to be heard of again, is enough to make you pull (what’s left of) your hair out.

I think we all know that at this point, it is indefinitely out.

I mean, holy sh*t; this thing isn't even picked up by any company, no announcement of it taking any steps toward commercialization, etc. and we have all these people on the "hype train" for a product that doesn't even f*****g exist.

They also said:

"We expect that the newly developed substance will contribute to the development of a drug"

That's what they think will happen with their discovery at some unknown point in the future; but then again, it might not.

when the actual solution is there (assuming this is one - obviously I m not in a position to tell, but thats what people are hyping up), logistics and trials are just a formality. you know, the polar opposite of faillica

Easy. Don't read hundreds of pages of garbage based on some bullshit topical with little-to-no science backing it.

I thought you left.

Anyway, we're not hyping a specific product but the actual science behind this. Can't believe you're missing that point. No sh*t there's no product, this is a scientific paper not a f*****g Kickstarter.

If this discovery works how they say it does there's not a company in the world that wouldn't try and put a product through trials and have the hair loss cure out there. Next thing you know you have 7/11 putting this sh*t in clinical trials next year. lol

Well if a major pharmaceutical company picks this up within the next coming weeks or months then we should get excited as hell

I'm wondering what the steps on doing this would be, I hope they can just copy the science behind it and have a product ready, then we'd have a lot of companies doing it, the more competition the faster and better the product.

Can we try and keep all the blue sky speculation to a minimum here? I'd like this thread to be a resource of information, not a swamp of emotional yo yoing.

In case you're new to this, in situations like this, this is the game plan:

1. Understand the Study.

If you want to add something useful to the discussion, at least try and get a rough hold of what the study is saying. You can read the study at source (it's possible for a layman with a bit of googling and intelligence to get a fairly good grip on what it says).

2. Discuss the Study.

Is it ligit? What kind of results did they have? How long? What was the study size? Who performed it? Is there any vested interests? How does it fit with our existing understanding? What did they use? How did they use it? Was it safe? What are they doing now? When or where can we get more data?

3. Implementation.

Can we do this ourselves? Do we have enough information? What data is in the study? Is there any patents? What can we use? Where can we get it from?

Discussing trail length and commercialisation at this point it pretty worthless.

The hype here is so high that I thought for 15 seconds that this will be out in 1-2 weeks... seriously guys? This "science" is just another test in mice and they even don't claim 5 years or something like that, because they don't think about progressing their research... Tests, money, failures etc etc it would take years even if they have starter years ago...this is more ridiculous than Brotzu...

Professor Choi Kang-yeol said, "We have developed a novel material that regulates the function of hair proteins and controls the function of hair to regenerate hair." I hope to contribute, "he said.

The research was supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MOCIE), and the research results were published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology on the 20th of last month.

It's inFuriating breh^^

Totally bruh, i mean, this is overall a great discovery...but the hype...THE HYPE is damn real here

"Out in 1 year", "Someone needs to make this protein", "Where can we buy it on Chinese market", "One shot cure", "they gonna skip clinical trials", "This is it boyos", Medias goes f*****g total looneys "New cure for baldness discovered" (as if we already have others)

And my favourite so far "The Inside Man theory"
Why is this relevant anyway ? Sounds like he smuggled some precious intel out of a South Korea top secret lab with a SD card inserted into his rectal cavity to make a leak on Reddit a few days before just for us poor baldlites
I mean, come on...

You guys know the 'drill' here

That’s like saying if you go to a plastic surgeon with any type of belly fat that you can’t in good concionce believe that lipo works...
Good point I guess I just think about it differently. Like if this girl were selling an all new invisiline product that she's been developing for years and will help create a straighter whiter smile it'd be tough but I think id say no maybe?...
