Hey man, any update on your dutasteride usage? Still awful?

Yeah, still awful. My hairline is even worse. Shedding has increased. The itch is a little bit better, but it's probably due to Tget/Regenepure.

Will probably add RU in the mix. At least for starters just on my hairline and will see how it goes.

So I've been on the avodart up until now and some of what I've been experiencing is rather disturbing. My sex drive has gone up drastically, and I really mean drastically. I've also developed pimples on my forehead, or something resembling it. I honestly don't know what the f*** to do, I have alot of hair to protect and I was thinking about readding minoxidil, 5% twice a day and 15% once a day. Know anything about lipogaine? Why do you think that you getting some pimples and your sex drive going up men's Duasteride is not working? Have you ever done any tests to check your levels?

Because shouldn’t a REDUCTION of sex drive and pimples mean that it's working? Not an increase? I haven't taken any blood work since starting Dutasteride, I will get one done soon.

Just because you have no DHT does not mean you will never get any pimples or have a sex drive...

It all noticeably increased since starting dutasteride. I can't imagine it being anything other than dht or testosterone.

Reading that is getting me crazy. What I read about dutasteride is that it clears the acne of the guys that tried it (and that would be a bonus for me because my skin is oily af). As you say, the libido , if anything, is supposed to drop, not increase.
I just bought a pack of 60 pills of 0.5 generic duta. On the paper that comes with it with the instructions and what not, it says that the common side effects are Gyno, low libido and that affect 1 in 10 men.
What the actual f***?! that's 10% of chance of getting it! Idk where they took such information from but that's a lot of chances for me to get gyno.

You seemed to freak out a bit about this ordeal of avodart... is it because you fear it's worsening your hair or just not working? (or is just because of the side effects?)
As long as it's not gyno, you are good.

Yeah I know. I tried to stay away from topicals as much as possible because it's obviously much easier to just pop a pill and go on with your life. But right now, things are so bad that I cannot afford losing my hair anymore. Hairloss is affecting my life too much.

Regenepure is just a shampoo like Nizoral with 1% keto. I have a lot of inflammation lately and I'm trying to address that. I never used Lipogaine.

Dude, you're'r just coming up at 6 months right? I'd bet a grand you'll see maintenance at 1 year mark, with massive regrowth at 18 months

Nickypoo's story actually coincided exactly with that. You look at his 5month photo to 6 month photo and there is noticeable improvements (or maybe it's just lack of light in the 6 month photo?) And it's hairline recovery which is supposedly the hardest to get. Damn, I get too fixed on that guy's success just as much as I get scared with people's scary stories of Gyno and aggravated hairloss with duta.

No, I don’t think so. Dutasteride wouldn’t be used for enlarge prostate if that was the case.
