I really hope this forum will not become a "feel good" place like heralopecia, where "negative" comments are not allowed because it would make some members feel bad.

Nailed it! If that happens I'm out. Anyway I've got your back Fred, although I do not always agree with you, I agree with a lot of what you say.

That's my main issue. I wouldn't like what I saw in the mirror even if I pulled it off.

There are of course girls who won't mind dating a 25 year bald or balding guy for example.

But the majority of girls out there will probably mind. "Some girls won't mind" is more accurate here.

Fred, you can say what you feel man and your experience, you don't have to be so extreme :) Just don't attack people, that's it. If that's really what you wanted to say, no worries.

It's important to feel better but we all want objective validation too from others. So it's a balancing act. I do believe confidence is a by product. You can get it out of thin air, there are some people like this believe it or not, but how much impact does it have on others?

Ultimately being at peace in life (with your good and bad points ) is probably the most important thing.

It really shouldnt matter what others think, aslong you are happy doing whatever, what all should matter, i been there done that it made things worse soon as i had the "**** it" mindset, i felt better.

Whats wrong with it being good? sure vent and let it out, but still...we ment to be supporting each other, not finding links or sites of people dissing it (not saying you do that).

I just noticed your age. Are you actually 23? If so, I commend your attitude. The problem for me saying **** it about hair, is there is facebook, work and a social life. I would still get on with life but it would be depressing? Especially the kind of people I have on there. It's the one thing that prevents me personally "ageing gracefully." Nothing else fazes me.

Ultimately you're right though, getting too carried away over everything for society, will lead to a miserable, restricted, unwell life.

Those comments stopped when I let the horseshoe grow back. So shaving it all off (bro) is not an option for tall pale skinny men like me.

Yet women don't go for the strong masculine meathead, it's not on their shopping list, they go for the tall, skinny, feminine-looking NW1.

Open your eyes and look around you when you go out. You will see that it's true.

When I see my girlfriend's female friends and their boyfriends, none of them are overly masculine, muscular or dominant.

Wait hold on....

When I see my girlfriend's female friends and their boyfriends,

http://mrwgifs.com/wp-content/uploa...-WTF-Expression-While-Checking-Things-Out.gif

Jokes aside, I have a few things to say:

1. Women definitely like masculine guys. Yes, they also like the feminine male model pretty boys, but any girl over age 20 will also get turned on by muscles and masculine features. Guys with muscles slay at clubs, and if you are looking for sex, being masculine is not going to hurt you. At all. Don't aspire to be feminine.

2. Women have sex with masculine bad boys and those masculine bad boys rarely want to actually "date" the women. So they settle for nicer, less masculine guys who will give them emotional support as a boyfriend. Whatever your aim is with women, whether it is sex or a relationship, being masculine will not hurt your chances at all, and the more you assert yourself as a dominant man, the less chance they will try and walk all over you. You also don't have to be some hypersexual meathead to get women, but having masculine features and masculine style is definitely a plus, otherwise teen girls wouldn't want to date the high school football team.

At the end of the day, women just want to bang good looking men. Men with pretty faces and men with handsome masculine faces. But since most of us are not born with pretty faces, it's better to be a masculine man rather than a feminine man. The bonuses of this extend far beyond women as well.

Good post all round. It's often an inexperienced guys fantasy thinking that height matters. It's a nice bonus but as long as you're not short, it's not the magic pill it's made out to be. Same with full hair, it doesn't make you special on it's own. Looks are very important. It's an example I often give. I know a guy who is 6ft 2, 31, still has full hair, in fact the hairline is so low you can hardly see any forehead. He has a masculine frame but doesn't work out. Sounds good? But here's the thing: he is ugly, by his own admission too. I have never seen a girl give him signs, very rarely. Maybe occasionally from a below average girl. But he still manages to date, with a lot of effort though. He has a friend who is only 5ft 7 but ripped and good looking. I know for a fact he would swap his face in a heartbeat, hair and all, for one of us. To me all this was obvious until I came on this forum when I saw strange debates. That's when I realised about obsession over low hairlines and height e.t.c.

Of course ideally a male should be 6ft for sure.

Just to clarify I am going to improve my hairline, but it's to enable me to style the rest of my hair more freely. I don't think it will change my life objectively, always maintained that.

I completely agree with you. I wasn't talking about feminine behavior of course, women are repelled by that.

If you act feminine or weak in front of your girlfriend, she will resent you for it. Never make that mistake.

True. Certain amount of it is acceptable in a long term relationship but overall as a man you're supposed to be looking after them. Men aren't encouraged to talk about problems or worry about their appearance. Probably why many men end up killing themselves.

That post had nothing to do with hair lol. I meant as in "well to do" people, girls and guys. People who will pick on things and lead a very active life around the world. So I would feel uncomfortable with a bald head on facebook in that scenario at this age. Hmm come to think of it there is probably only 1-2 pretty bald guys on my facebook that's it. I never Norwood spot people, yet. Hope it won't become an obsession. I know a few guys on medication though and had transplants, even piece. My african origin mate is on dutasteride/Rogaine.

Right now I just have a receding hairline. But it's not so much they will make me feel bad if I am bald, I don't believe they would waste their energy obsessing. There are bald guys like my cousin and he is okay on facebook. But it's the fact that they will SEE me bald. So yeah, the problem is with me :)

No problem. I deleted my posts.

I've just cleaned up some more. I'm sure everyone will feel better for it.

No... they don't. The delusion is really, really, really strong.

Pretty much any good looking guy is going to be masculine looking. There are exceptions, but even most "man pretty" guys like Brad Pitt are still masculine.

Yep. I posted a picture yesterday of a pretty boy in a soap who was still masculine looking, it's common knowledge. Had to clean up the thread though. Defined masculine face is the hallmark of a good looking guy. Overall I would say there is such a thing as universal traits. All good looking guys may not look exactly the same but the basic features are actually very similar.

Tom Cruise was a pretty boy for a long time and he also has a masculine face.

It's the peak of attraction for women because it is something different to them and what defines a man.

It's mainly Zayn from one direction that is liked for real. Rest are due to being celebs/songs. A girl posted once on my facebook, he makes me funny down there.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/zayn-malik-turns-21-heres-2199985

Note the mention of he has a jaw (defined face), abs, eyes, tattoos and stubble. To say Zayn is feminine looking would be completely wrong. He has a young face and you're confusing that to mean he is feminine looking. I am sure as he gets older he will get maybe older girl fans if he doesn't already.

Ages ago a chick I knew showed interest in me but I was already with someone. I asked her out right what kind of guys do you like and got to know her pretty well. She said I don't have a type but liked black guys as they looked most masculine. I don't look black at all but I look like a masculine greek guy. She was a tall girl but educated and pretty shy so it made me think. I am sure she would like Zayn too.

It's a reality. My african mate is VERY different looking to me obviously but he does well with the ladies. To me, he is like at the peak of masculinity but not meat head style. 6ft, masculine face and frame, natural muscle. Even when he shaves his head. My gf also said he is good looking and so did my mum even if he wasn't necessarily their type. People can appreciate good looks still. Now these are picky people who won't randomly big up for the sake of it. They normally say exactly how it is, even if it's cruel.

Ironically he is still treating his hair with dutasteride!

There definitely is a line, you're right there. I believe my friend is at that perfect peak. He has the overall appearance of masculinity without being too aggressive/big looking. On top of that he is a nice guy. That second part is important. A guy who is masculine looking but will be intelligent and caring towards her. That has great sex appeal. So an aggressive masculine guy would be viewed as a low class person.

His own friend who is also from a similar ethnic background said to me he doesn't want to get too big as it's intimidating at work/girls, where first appearances matter. A lot of black guys have this fear, especially the educated ones. Because they are aware of the stereotypes.

I'd agree with the fine line. In a way women do like masculine douchebags, I know that's the mantra of the sad rejected loser but it's true, girls like to think they can tame a guy who could easily move on to someone else.

The fine line would be a guy who could be that player douchebag if he so chose to, but instead is more humble and maybe a bit more introverted. That's confusing/intriguing for the female mind.

Bla bla!

U could be shy, and introvert with a masculine handsome face and women will think you're mysterious, hot and unpredictable

Ubcould be a douchebag bag, again with a handsome masculine face and women will think you're courageous, adventerous and a hot bad boy

U could be ugly and nice and women will think you're creepy, weak and weird.

U could be a ugly douchebag bag and women will think you're rude, and of course a creeper.

Ita all looks.... halo effect.

The formula is be handsome.

Girls do not want to know anything about bald person,if you get bald after marriage/friendship,many girls will not care about your hairloss,if you met a girl and you are already bald, you are wasting your time in 99% cases, very very few girl will give respect and will be happy to talk with you.

This is why I can't stand this Pua, and positive blue pill crap.
We need to stick to the basics of what actual works on influencing attraction. People posting hair transplants for motivation.

Reconstructive surgery is the only way to influence and raise physical attraction .

Hair transplants
Exercisinng and plastic surgery are the only ways to boost and improve your aesthetics.
