I'm glad this nonsense isn't common in Eastern Europe. I've never in my life heard about PUA here and I browse all sorts of forums a lot. It's a given that attraction is something innate. Here people overestimate the importance of money when it comes to women but that's it. Be good looking and have a nice car or something that means you have some sort of money, it's the only advice I've ever heard.

I totally understand your point about it being little better than a paperweight if you can't apply it for yourself. I certainly am not being dismissive of people whos experiences don't coincide with the findings of the study, its about trends after all. That said though, I can actually give you a body language exercise a T.A showed me to demonstrate the importance of body language in primates. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and put your hands on your hips, relax and hold that posture for 2mins and feel what happens to you- you feel awesome. So, just by adopting a dominant posture you can make yourself feel more powerful.
Anyway, since we're talking anecdotes, here's one of mine from the weekend.
I went out on Friday to a house party by some friends who I haven't seen in months. A great many female friends of mine were there, most noticed my new beard before they noticed my hair, a couple even asked if I'd been working out (I haven't) before noticing that I was bald. I explained how my hair was severely thinning so that this was me deciding to go bald on my own terms which was universally applauded. I then tried to get as many opinions as I could, most were indifferent saying that, like with any hairstyle, it depends on how it suits the person. Some really liked it, with one of the girls giving the out of the blue opinion that it made me seem friendlier since having no hair makes my eyes more noticeable. Only one said that she didn't really liked bald heads but said it made little difference in my case (which is good, because we've hooked up). She also added that she dislikes man buns but loves dredlocks on white people so to take from that what I will. However, the one thing they all agreed on was that no hair is way better than a hippocratic wreath or a Jude Law peninsula.

And then when they get home will say the total opposite to their partners, spouse, family members, flatmate.... whoever.
As Fred says a person's actions (REactions, really) will tell you EVERYTHING!

Exactly, the reactions were almost non existent, my lack of hair was usually the last thing they noticed. Also, there's no culture of "saying the right thing" where I'm from, there's a culture of "I'm going to mock you mercilessly for your flaws until you snap", its why sports teams from my region are such perennial excuse makers (same goes for Brazil).
Anyway, I was supposed to go clubbing afterwards but that fell through. Todays a public holiday and there's a pig party in a few hours so I'll get to have a run with strangers. I'm actually excited as ****.

Look up these two guys, Brendan Schaub and Jake Sheilds. Who do you think is more popular with the ladies Schaub, the 6'4', 115kg college football player who dated the worlds most dangerous woman, or Jake, the most average looking man in the world?
I dont care. Every time I make a point (usually backed by scientific studies) you have to go and find someone who you think it wouldnt apply to. Its like me saying "finasteride gave me side effects therefore it gives everyone side effects, and those who claim otherwise are all liars and would rather just be impotent than hairless".
Both are celebrities so fame wont be a factor when comparing the two. Or let me guess, is dominance and confidence suddenly more important than looks if you're famous, even when the equally famous person next to you is far better looking? Thats some Fred logic right there. So, who do you think is more successful on the clubbing scene? Jake or Brendan. Its a simple question.

Actually, not true because
A) they're hardly celebrities but that said, even if they were, their fame wouldn't be able to account for a disparity in their success rates.
B) the reason I was presenting this anecdote was because, according to Brendan himself, when he used to club with Jake he'd never get any attention from women, they'd approach him just to ask where Jake was and then leave him standing alone at the bar- a tall, dark and handsome loser.

Brendan is very handsome while Jake is very average but is notoriously good with women and gets way more as a result. Its to show that looks aren't the biggest factor when it comes to getting pussy.

Uhhhh yeah, especially next to Schaub. Regardless of your opinion on his looks, shouldn't the more attractive man be more successful in every circumstance? Especially when he's 5 inches taller?
If it was common sense then why does the less attractive one get more women with, yes, the same amount of effort? The answer is that its not common sense, the answer lies in evolutionary psychology/biological anthropology, fields of higher education. If it was common sense I wouldn't have had to cite sources for the research paper I wrote in university on the similarity's between human and primate sexuality.
