i'm honest about it yes lol. i wouldn't want to use the term "babying" but rather "special or preferential treatment". and no pity because that doesnt help. acknowledgement of having it bad yes but not pity. its very true pity can actually make you feel worse. actually in general pitying doesnt help in shitty situations

Today I went to buy some new clothes, the girl at the dress shop just gave me the "oh god look at this bald freak what a waste of good expensive clothing" look, and of course I met a few good-looking fullheads who stared at me just to make me feel uncomfortable. I can only get used to it, smile while holding back tears and move on.

i'm half asian and tan. not super dark, although if i stay out in the sun i can get kinda dark. my old pics when i wasnt a basement dweller i was as dark as a guy from india lmao. i change races depending on circumstances haha

I was wondering that too because there is a type of anxiety where you are believing people if laughing are laughing at 'you' meanwhile might have nothing to do with you and their belief is strong--now add to that someone who has genuinely experienced humiliation from people..Its like if you are raped or beaten or mugged and then when people eyeball you the past trauma would probably make you believe they are eyeballing you to do you harm.

I'm not imagining things, I was the only client there along with the guys and they were staring at me with a clear expression of amused disgust, same with the girl, who did not even try to hide it. I always try not to see these things and pretend they don't even happen for f***'s sake. Body language never lies unfortunately, and I can read it. Just as I thought I was being paranoid about my colleagues before finding out I was tragically correct.

This is a thing and can have its roots in social anxiety and OCD, and as far as schizophrenia.

Some people literally begin to imagine the laughter in their head, which is extreme, but other paranoid people can read a simple "look" as being judgemental and degrading, because of their own lack of self worth and OCD.

Well I know that ugly guys here would not have all of your experiences. So I'm trying to work out if Italy is different or are you imaging some of it.

If there's one thing I've learned while traveling it's that Irish and English are very polite compared to many other cultures. To find someone staring at you is a rare occurrence, even rarer to find someone amusingly staring at you.
