I have some pills and some alcohol near by. Not like anyone cares.

Never thought i'd consider killing myself over hair. But it's more than just hair. And any hair loss sufferer knows exactly what I mean.

It's a feeling of ugliness. Of not being normal. Baldness is a disease. It's a defective gene.

I have zero options. My hairloss is very rare. Something like only 5 percent of men get DUPA.

I couldn't of even had regular male pattern baldness where meds or transplants were an option.

My only option is a full cap wig or SMP.

I hate life. Robbed of everything at 27 years old.
I would suggest you don't kill yourself and wait for 4/5 years that something new comes out.
Losing hair sucks big time but you can do something with your life even if you are not cool as you were as a NW1. Plus, I repeat, things can change.

The topic of friends ditching you because of hair loss is a very interesting one. I've got plenty of bald friends and I never ditched any of them. From hat prisoners to guys who wear wigs, as long as they treated me with kindness and respect, that's all I cared about. But obviously, I always cared very deeply about my own appearance, and obviously hair loss has had a huge effect on my own life. I never really cared if my friends were going bald, yet when I started losing my hair, I went batsh*t crazy.

I have become estranged from plenty of friends due to hair loss though, and it really isn't because they directly shied away from me. I just became a different person, and I stopped contacting certain friends because I could no longer be the person that I once was. I was moodier, and more angry and depressed. I wasn't the fun-loving, vivacious guy that I once was. And quite frankly, some people are just obsessed with such an excessive level of positivity that they do not want even the slightest bit of negativity to enter into their little existences. I think that's a pretty juvenile way of thinking, but whatever. I know that if these people lost their own hair, they'd be freaking out big time.

Sometimes, I actually try to re-evaluate their points of view though, but I keep coming back to the same conclusion. If one of my friends was sad and depressed, I'd be there to show them compassion and love, no matter how negative they can be. Some people are just not capable or are unwilling to show such compassion. In short, they probably wouldn't be able to help me with my problems, but they'd be willing (in a second) to have a drink with me at the bar. It's kind of a strange dynamic.

Make a hair transplant! Suizide is not a good option. Lol. I had many problems when i was young + a very hard
+ major illness you see i'm still alive.

Today there are good results possible with a hair transplant:

Norwood 6 guy and see the result:

I will do my hair transplant at the begin of the year 2017.;)

Bobster, you're feeling are totally legit and justified. I wish that society would agree (and wasn't so clueless about hair loss) because then we might actually have a cure for this sh*t once and for all.

But I wouldn't encourage you to kill yourself though. I PM'ed you on the subject. Take a look at this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...-suicide-survivor_us_56690b13e4b080eddf570a5b. He says that the millisecond that he jumped off of that bridge, he was filled with instant regret. But I can empathize with how you feel bro. As I told you before, I've been there.

Bobster said he has DUPA (diffuse unpatterned alopecia), so he can't have a hair transplant.

I'm seriously contemplating suicide at the moment.

I have DUPA and finasteride isn't working.

What a joke of a life.

There is no God.

How do you accept living as an ugly person with such a terrible genetic flaw.

The only option is accepting that you are not going to be attractive anymore.

I had hopes and dreams. Now all I want to do is die.

Sorry to hear this. May I ask what's your current Norwood level? And btw, I don't believe in God either. There is too much suffering in the world and if there truly was a God he wouldn't allow this. I prayed for the first time in forever yesterday that God save my grandfather, and look what happened - he's now dead. Praying and believing in God is utterly useless; we are completely alone and on our own in this world.

Diffuse Alopecia is NOT male pattern baldness.

Diffuse hair loss alopecia has many causes , ranging from illness to poor diet and stress to hormonal changes and side effects of some medications .

Just entered forum first time in a week and found this.

Decided my duty is to tell do not do this.

Somehow collect at least 100 healthy hair with follicles right now and put them into a refrigerator or something to keep them for a few years till Takashi Tsuji will come with cure (2020).

Or try to participate in experiments on humans in any upcoming researches.

Yes, it is a genetical autoimmune (autohormonal) decease (deformity) but wait 5 years, it will be pity to die just before hairloss cure.

Lol you are seriously misinformed. DUPA is a form of male/female pattern baldness where the hair folliclie miniaturizes all over the scalp instead of in the NW7 area.

Hair loss from stress and poor diet is just bullsh*t, are you telling me I'm going bald because I have a poor diet or stress too much? Please. Baldness is 100% genetic unless you have alopecia areata or some autoimmune disease.

I hate life too my friend. A surprising amount of people on this planet hate life. A surprising amount of people on this planet are unnattractive, or just down right ugly.

I am sorry you're going through this, I truly am. How do you know what's after this life is going to be any better? I know you don't think things can be much worst, but they can.

Coming from a former molecular biologist, they are not "defective genes" in fact, they are very much the opposite.

You are not "defective". you are a human. An unlucky human, like many out there, but a human none the less. A unique one.

Also, if you can make it through this, you sure as hell will be able to make it through anything in life. anything. This is the hardest test. I am a 34 with Androgenetic Alopecia and I am dying inside.

Why not SMP until Tsuji saves you? I personally think that there will be future treatments for people with DUPA. I honestly do. Science and technology is expanding at a crazy rate. By the time you are 30-35, you will have a cure and an entire life ahead of you.

You're robbed of everything now, but how horrible would it be if you ended everything now, when you could find a somewhat decent solution (SMP) and in you early to mid thirties, even get your hair back.

Yes, you're correct. This might be a bold statement, but I believe most people on this planet are somewhat plain to ugly. And then we have a handful of people who look like supermodels. Some people win the genetic lottery with perfect looks and health, but they are a minority. Most people aren't that lucky...

Absolutely correct;)

Movies, television, print media is not the real life.
Go outside and how the people look.

There are maybe 10 % of women and men which look very good. The other 90 % are just normal look.
Absolute average:D

None of you is really ugly, you are all just the other 90 %.

Many you guys are really too pessimistic and depressive. Turn off the pc and go out to the street.

He's a cornerstone of this forum, no doubt. :D

Yeah really funny Dante92.

It's getting boring. The problem is the most of you just think you are alone with the baldness problem.

The statistic and the reality speaks an other language :

75 percent of men will experience baldness at 35 Years old

Baldness has been a serious problem for men. Research shows, he was able to go bald since the age of 20 years. Men who experience hair loss more and more in number when entering the age of 35 years.

As report by American Hair Loss Association says:

  1. 75 percent of men will experience a serious baldness problem at the age of 35 years.
  2. 25 percent of men slowly go bald before the age of 25 years.
  3. And when the age of a 50-year, 85 percent of men had only a thin hair.
