Frankly, I don't give two flying fucks about your so called "strong personality". I find this post f*****g offensive. Did it ever cross your mind that maybe, just maybe, Dante and co's situations may actually be every bit as terrible as they claim them to be? And if they are, then what do suggest they do about it? If there are no readily available solutions? Would you have them suffer in silence? Well, I wouldn't. This forum is meant to be a safe space for guys to give vent to their frustrations, vocalise them in a way they wouldn't normally be able to do in the outside world. And I will fight long and hard against shitbags like you to keep it that way.

I agree!
it's funny the words he chose 'strong' personality.
It's like he's insulting anyone who does not think or process sh*t as he does.
thats what idiots tell depressed people they are not 'strong'

WTF did you just write????

Hell No!!!!

Don't diss my country.

Im a liberal, atheist New Yorker who has hated Trump since the mid 80's club days

Yes we got some fucked up social civil war going on right now but back up.

Dont diss my country you piss me off--espeically this week.
I will cut you.

With 300 million people, there is no shortage of both good and bad to the USA. I just moved to Baltimore a few weeks ago, I see plenty of good and plenty of bad (mostly good).

With that said, people from other countries should be careful of playing that game as the same applies to other countries.

Trump is bad, but he is not an anomaly. He is part of the same continuum as Boris Johnson, Nicholas Sarkozy, Silvio Berlusconi, etc.

Look at what Europe (re: Germany) is doing to Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Greece.

Switzerland, Finland, Canada, Monaco, Israel, etc do very well but they are positioned to benefit from a US-run world order. They'd have to reinvent themselves in a different world order, where there would be no guarantee to success.

There are aspects of life which you can not change.
There are things that you have to accept!!! EVERY HUMAN!!!

if Exodus set his sights on girls of his "caliber" or even a little below, rather than focusing on cute white girls,

Ouch.

"Love", "Individuality" all that nonsense is exactly that. We are all just commodities, competing in a great sexual market. No feelings, just romantic capital. Products enroute to the highest bidder.

Absolutely beautiful.

I know your warning comes from a good place.
It may be bitter, but I have to take my medicine
like other big boys who call it like they see it.

I'll tell you what though my dear friend; we have a deal if you can promise us
that you'll try and accept with more certainty, what is the overwhelming consensus vocalized here,
that your own special beauty is unparalleled. You can think about it before you respond.
However if you'll ever compelled again to exercise your HairLossTalk.com member prerogatives and check dislike
I'll know it's from someone who loves me. :) .

I.D, I have a better chance of stopping my hair loss than I do of accepting compliments. This eternal work in progress never stops trying to see herself through the eyes of others, though, both the good and the bad qualities.

"Eternal works in progress". That is a beautiful quote which rivals ID Walker's signature in being of the lyrics of an 80s-styled rock ballad. And your empathy and compassion for others (which is shown in your posts) is in my opinion the main reason why you're one of the most beloved posters on here..
Thank you, F2005, but you give me too much credit. You've been nothing but empathetic and respectful in every one of your posts, and I have always admired you for that.

You are a judgmental a**h** and for someone 'older' then most of these guys you are really immature in the things you say to them.

yes some of these guys are in a depression---would you like to tap dance on their graves?

You mock them with your 'strong' personality as if to imply they are weak..who the f*** are you?

Its one thing to give people encouragement or to challenge their ideas--i challenge them none of them are afraid to hear what others have to say--does not mean they have to agree.

Your ego can't take that they don't respect what you have to say.

So you have to knock them down.

thats positive? your kidding yourself.

your an egotist not a positive person--HUGE difference.

what are you doing on this thread?

its like you enjoy their pain.

It's refreshing to hear you acknowledge this, David. You sound very pragmatic here.
This is why, for the most part, I support a strong U.S. presence in the world, both militarily and politically.

Though, some of their recent military adventures have not been the right choice.

I don't mind if he criticized or critiqued my country--I criticize my country.. but he talks like an a**h**.
I dont have a good opinion of him from a lot of what he wrote.
people are on here discussing suicide attempts and struggles and he's gloating what a 'strong' person he is and more stuff he said--just sounds pompous to me.
Hey he actually kind of sounds like Trump.
Trump 'hates' weakness in others. They have this in common.

In one sentence Joan, you may have virtually summarized the dominant,
dour theme that runs through these threads.

When we struggle with self acceptance eg: self image challenges, occasionally blandishments and praises accorded to us
can accidently act as a consequential antagonist to the underlying chronic issue (self-acceptance) rather than producing
the initial uplifting response intended, like salt will irritate the preexisting wounds we're futilely licking.

I am someone who non-confrontationally resists compliments, and yet contradictorily so,
seldom quibbles over the satisfying act of showering people with verbal admiration.

Although I usually appreciate the impetus behind a compliment
I receive(d), I have yet to discover a large enough chink in this incorrigible fortress that my old fears and foolish ideologies
have built around this immature and damaged ego of mine,
that will allow a steady current of warm change to permeate.

Thank you, F2005, but you give me too much credit. You've been nothing but empathetic and respectful in every one of your posts, and I have always admired you for that.

N0003, I agree with what you are saying.

One problem is if you challenge a persons negative self belief they will always get angry. Tell a fat person that they must increase their activity and they will always get frosty. Tell a person who is bad with money to save more and they will start to make excuses.

Some people love excuse.

But in defence of some of the boards neg heads I will say that this place is a 'safe space' where like minded people can go. In the same way that rape survivors meet up for comfort, so to do balding men chat about how hard it is. This place is probably the only place that these men can vent. In life we are taught as men not to show weakness and insecurity. We keep things bottled up and that is why men kill themselves so often. If this place can help those men let go of there frustration then in some ways it could be helpful for a short while.

I say all that with trepidation though, my concern is that sometimes this board perpetuates a negative outlook on life.

I guess it goes two ways.

the identity destroying aspect of baldness is a source of underrated misery

just sitting here being anxious and emotional as usual and despite learning to let go of societys hatred of men like this i can still see it from their POV

a bald man has to be manly to be worth something they say, well f*** that. i hate being manly and i dont give a flying f*** (atm) if i wont be able to get girls being a perceived sensitive bald guy

my soul cant f*****g breathe if i dont get to be me

i just wish i could be me and get a girlfriend as well

lets not kid ourselves theres lots of feminine twink emo types getting hot girls nowadays, ofc they have HAIR tho

not to mention from a society POV its just weird to have a sensitive bald guy. theyre only depicted as jokes like Costanza. theyre always powerful genius or evil to make up for the negative of the baldness

this is the kind of stuff to me that makes me consider suicide because of baldness

not allowed to even exist

This.

I am not "manly". Call me low T or another sluthate sh*t I don't really care.

I want to look like intelligent person not a bald "jacked" "high T" meathead. If It it doesn't work in 2016 – I better LDAR.

You cannot be yourself if society dictates you that you need to be bald "badass" – you are forced to be not who you are. It goes into contradiction with JUST BE YOURSELF.

That is depressing because your inner perception of yourself doesn't match your looks.
