inland, do u get any sides with the .5 of finasteride? I had sides with 1mg too and I'm thinking about .5

i did not get any sides from the .5 finasteride (propecia cut in half)

just recently i stopped the finasteride to save money, and i will see what happens. i think it was all nizoral and foam that did all the work anyways.

yeah man you had good results using the finasteride

i agree with Obsidian stay with the big three you hair is dependent on it now

you might lose allot of ground off finasteride .... it might shock your follicles

I would stay on finasteride if you're not getting sides. Proscar is very cheap.

I would not stop finasteride if I were you. The male pattern baldness process will resume and will eventually become obvious despite using stimulants.

Yeah, Finasteride and Minoxidil work best when used together. But, if you drop finasteride there will nothing to prevent the follicles from damage. male pattern baldness will kick in in no time.

like 2 or 3 days after i stopped finasteride, the whole top of my head started itching really bad. i assumed it was inflammation due to DHT levels ramping back up. it has stopped now, and i planned on staying off of finasteride, but now im thinking i should hurry up and get back on.

i dont want to go on proscar, because i can only take 0.5mg. it would be hard to split the pills. i think i will just get another prescription to propecia, and cut them in half. thanks for the info.

Unfortunately with hair loss you can't just get the results you want then drop one of the key meds involved with those results, stay on finasteride.

Right after the above post, I went on inhousepharmacy and got 92 tablets of finpecia. that will last me over 6 months and it was only $46. So less than $100 a year will keep me supplied with finasteride.

And no sides with 0.5 finasteride for me. if you think you are going to have erection issues, you will. its all mental. i bet i could go back on 1mg, because i think it might have been mental for me. 0.5 is half the price and almost just as effective.

people get gyno from 1mg finasteride? I thought that wasn't even possible. I saw somewhere that it only happened in 1 in 200 men taking 5mg proscar.

finasteride actually raised my test levels slightly and I believe helped me add some muscle mass... I only take 0.5mg and I think I was in my prime in strength and size while taking finasteride. Good thing I am back on it now.

update 7-14: Hair just keeps getting better. I still felt uncomfortable styling with my hair line showing until now. I know I still have a tiny bit of hair to regrow - but I could not be happier.

I am now taking 1/2 finpecia, nizoral 1% every other day (no other shampoo) leave in for whole shower, and foam applied to temples ONCE daily after I shower. Still regrowing!

Im starting to notice all my friends with thinning / receding hair keep looking at mine. They must know I am regrowing. I want to talk to them about it but I am scared. I have NEVER mentioned my regimen or discussed the topic with anybody... only online... weird huh?

Anyways great work man, I'm not sure how bad your loss actually was but it is virtually non-existent now which is great news!

hey thanks. theres a pretty good comparison on page 2, shows how much volume my hair used to have and what it went to in the matter of a couple months.

Im thinking about growing it out again to see what happens. we will see.
