hey man have a look over at my story... your hair loss is JUST LIKE MINE and you have the same hair color....

you just apply Min to your temples ONLY correct ?

If so then finasteride and nizoral are doing the job all over your top since you are a diffuse thinner..

Yeah I checked your story out.. interesting! How is everything going now? Sucks about what happened right off the bat... I know how it feels.

I apply min to the temples and a little spot in the center towards the front.
You are right - finasteride and nizoral are doing the job everywhere else, and doing a damn good job. I think I'm going to be on the big 3 for my whole life... unless there is some crazy breakthrough.

Hi inland, do you apply the foam just below the hairline or does it touch the hairs along the hairline. Surely, if its the latter then you would have shed hairs in that region...

I developed the skill of applying a line of foam just below the hair line and spreading to the thinning areas. it took a while to learn how to not make a mess / waste foam. but yeah, i probably did shed, I just didnt really notice.

man I wish you would post some pics of your hair while it was thinning... you posted a pic on page 2 that does not really do a good job of showing your thinning...

Also you put the foam in the middle front of your hair, correct ? How much do you use on it and on hairline also?

I'm using it on my left temple just below my hairline and it is already growing some peach fuzz its only been 2 weeks... My plan is to see how it does in 3 months on that temple and if it does well then i'll start spreading it ALL over my whole top of head.... still on finasteride as well

I had a ton of pics, but I deleted them. I am still kicking myself for this. I have on old thread where people have commented that I look thin on top. Once I got all my hair back, I wanted to delete all evidence of me having thin hair. The pic on page 2 is one of very few of me appearing to have little hair. I avoided cameras like the plague too. :shakehead:

But yeah, I put a small ball of foam right in the middle front and rub it in. Then I put a thin line just below the hairline and kinda push it up into the hair as it starts to dry.

Why did you cut back your foam usage to once a day instead of twice?

Im starting to notice all my friends with thinning / receding hair keep looking at mine. They must know I am regrowing. I want to talk to them about it but I am scared. I have NEVER mentioned my regimen or discussed the topic with anybody... only online... weird huh?

I totally know the feeling.

Here are a few. I plan on cutting my hair short next month. Looking at my original post, it looks like my hair line filled in a little bit more. The curve to it appears to be disappearing. what do you think?

Check out the left pic taken on 1-21-09, and the right one taken on 3-1-10 of my right temple. Looks like the little white hairs cycled and came back full strength. I originally posted the left one on how much of an imporovement was made, but now I think its even better. What do you think?

so you still dont apply the foam and minoxidil to all your top right ?

sprio cream on hairline and foam on thin spots at night. proxiphen N on hairline in the morning.

where all do you apply you foam ? all over the top or just hairline still ?

I would say roughly the whole frontal area, but mostly at the hair line

...you have the same kind of hair like I have ...mine is a little bit darker and thinner...I also have a thin spot in frontal side...right now I'm not taking anything but...this month I'll go to a dermatologist...I'm a little bit scary because last time when I was, she gave me a shampoo made by vegetable)...so now I don't know if I'll get a prescription for finasteride...I'm not shedding at all but...I don't have too much hair also...so I'm willing to take proscar for some months...till I get a regrowth and then I'll try to keep the results with nizoral..l.I also want to add minoxidil...But did u ever asked yourself how many time will u use this?I'm trying to postpone an implant beacause I don't have money right now...but...one day...I will have to do it!

Sorry to say so, but you will not keep your finasteride results with nizoral. It will not happen.

I had a small shed a couple months after stopping finasteride while starting spironolactone and tricomin. I tried not to look in the mirror and just stuck it out.

Yes. Hair is great, and life is better. The more time that goes by without finasteride, I realize more and more how much of a horrible drug this is (for me)

No, and I stopped prox and no change. Never noticed a thing from start to finish, or now that I've stopped. Not worth it IMO, too much $ and hassle.

Right now for me its just s5, kirkland minox5, and tricomin spray daily. niz1 3x a week. thats it!
