So, wait you don't use foam anymore ? Why so ?

1) And how much/ how often to you apply liquid minoxidil ?

2) Where all are you applying it?

3) Notice it's better or worse the foam

4) How long you been on liquid now ?

kirkland minox5 is cheaper and it lasts forever

1) And how much/ how often to you apply liquid minoxidil ?
once daily first thing in the morning after i wet my hair.

2) Where all are you applying it?
basically the whole frontal area

3) Notice it's better or worse the foam
harder to use, but you get used to it. it covers much more area. dont have to worry about using it spraingly.

4) How long you been on liquid now ?
I think 3 months now? didn't keep track, and still have foam laying around

My routine is to shower and use nizoral. Get out and spray tricomin as I'm drying my hair. Before bed I apply spironolactone cream to temples and center front. When I wake up, I wet my hair and apply minoxidil. Thats it!

How you doin? By your profile pic, looks like its goin pretty good!

Have you noticed better results with liquid or just the same effects ???

When you where on foam you used hardly nothing correct ? Is this still the saw with liquid?

Last question have you gone through ANY sheds during your minoxidil usage ?

Thanks again !

same same and no real noticeable sheds. its pretty much smooth sailin' for me. no change after the initial regrowth, which is good enough for me! i would be happy to maintain for the next 10+ yaers.

Inland, first of all I'd like to say that this is a great thread! You're one of the few people on here who I have seen demonstrate photographically the progress of your hairline over time with the use of different meds. It's been very insightful, so thanks man!

My question is... how long have you been using Tricomin spray for now? and most importantly do you think it is working "synergistically" with Minoxidil to grow your hairline back as the product review on this forum claims??

http://www.hairlosstalk.com/hair-loss-t ... /index.php

Is it at least having a significant, noticeable effect??

Or is minoxidil still doing the majority of the work for you?

As a 24yo, with a NW2.75 I'm very excited by your story and was thinking of adding Tricomin to my regimen in order to help regain some of my hairline. Is it worthwhile?

Thanks! I'm just trying to help everybody out.

I've been using Tricomin for about 4 to 5 months I'd say. I believe it is working together with the minoxidil due to the "same but different" growth stimulating effects. Tricomin adds nutrients to the hair to keep it healthy and minoxidil penetrates to increase the blood flow. The reason I added it was because without finasteride, I had nothing combating male pattern baldness on the top/crown of my head. I just give 5-6 sprays over the whole top of my head and rub it in. The overall health of my hair just seems to be improved. Kinda feels like its always conditioned. I haven't lost any hair, so it must be doing something!

This is now my 5th year fighting male pattern baldness. My hair is better now than it was when I was 23, and I'm 27 now. So I'm feelin pretty good :)

I would wager spironolactone Cream has been helping you a good deal since it is your only antiandrogen. Congrats.

The more time that goes by without finasteride, I realize more and more how much of a horrible drug this is (for me)

What made you come to this conclusion, I thought you said you had no sides from 0.5?

Also, how long does a tub of S5 and a bottle of tricomin last you?

Thanks.

Probably a little confusing because I haven't been updating this thread like I should. I updated the first post but didn't make it very clear.

Check this out: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=55450

I was basically in total denial, and finasteride messed me up really bad. The doctors were right, finasteride was responsible for basically everything I listed there. Hair was great, but everything else wasn't. Libido was in an acceptable range, just enough for me to be in denial and say it was okay, but now I can say with 100% confidence I was nowhere near okay. Also, the first page was almost 2 years ago.

To answer your other question - 1 month = 2 months in sprio and tricomin lasts forever. My 3 month supply isn't even half gone and its been at least 4 months.

its like spraying on water. no scent IMO and dries like nothing is there. i spray when my hair is damp and rub it in. i rub it in because i feel it needs help absorbing. not 100% on this but i dont think tricomin is designed to reach the scalp, it does the work to the actual hair.

i would say the only real shed i had was about a week after i stopped finasteride. my head was itching like crazy and my scratching probably contributed to it. i tried not to look in the mirror or count hairs, i had to ride it out.

Any updates? still have the hair you gained on Finas? Where exactly were you thinning before. From your hairline pic it looked as though you had thick hair. What are you using and what has been its effect in comparison to Finas? Thanks bro

Sure, its been a while. I'll even throw in some pics. I am still maintaining. My hair is longer than it has been in years, and it looks fine to me. And I never had thick hair, and it seems like spironolactone is working even better than finasteride, because it's targeting my problem areas. Also, I swear my hair on top is thicker than it's been my whole life. Seems thicker than when I was 15.
