How much pressure were u using?
Me Vs Diffuse Thinning is another user, haha. Not me. I'm 2 sessions in.
I use mild pressure. 2 mm 2 times a week.
You maybe got a link?

Indeed I missed his update post and I surely need some motivation :D

NVM, found it:

Could you maybe provide some photos @Me Vs DiffuseThinning?
@ToLGuy is the one keeping up with that!
I want to add that I tried dermapen, dermaroller, and dermastamp.

And I still don't understand why dermastamp is undervalued ... dermapen is painful, made me blood ... it looks like I butcher my scalp when I use it ... with dermastamp it's clean and because it's large it's done pretty quicly.

Maybe I got a bad dermapen ? ... Or I missed something.
Which one is it?
Still, it comes down to every person.
Some say dermapen is less painful. Other say the opposite. We're all different.
Truth is, a roller/manual stamp can work just fine. It's more uncomfortable than a pen, but it can give results.
However, the mechanism of the pen provides a more effective wounding.
Which pen is it?
Would you guys say positively it's worth using a pen for results over a roller? Or it's inconclusive and doesn't matter too much..?
Honestly, people have had results with a roller before. As for results, some people report a pen has wounded more effectively for them after trying a roller. Others think they're fine using a roller.
My advice; use what you feel most comfortable with.

I saw progress in my mid-scalp and hairline while on the big three+dermarolling after the first month of use. But it was only after 8 months that I started having progress in my crown. So the lesson from my experience is that, perhaps, some people are looking at the thinnest spots to see progress and then disappointed when there is none. Progress happens in the reverse of hair loss.

My last session I wanted to roll with a dermaroller but if you have longer hair I think this is impossible..the roller always stops in some "hair bundles"...

I would say try different things... We do not know anything about the best device and it's needle length or frequency..so I try different things in different sessions now... So I bought me a dermastamp for my next session... Maybe varitey helps our hair to not get used by needling

the mechanism of the pen provides a more effective wounding.
How do you know? Have you tested it?
You compared results between two persons? Two half of a scalp?
You checked it in a lab or any other scientific method?
Or you're just answering your with your opinions as a fact, misleading new comers?

I'm tightfisted ... and I'm afraid scars scalp mean more collagen (I'm still uncertain about it).

I don’t think scarring is an issue, it’s used on the face for acne etc and works pretty well.
I’ve used it on my forehead for deep lines too and there is a big difference after a few months.

the one almost everybody use (from amazon)

I really think dermastamp is more confortable, we are all different, you're right.
The grey one? I get blood spots and redness with that, but I'm not feeling like I'm butchering my scalp.
I haven't tried a manual stamp though, but I'm comfortable with the pen.
Stick to the manual stamp if that's what you feel most comfortable with.

my pen is almost painless at 2.0 i have deminator i went with a pen so i don't decide the depth or pressure the machine does this for me i feel stamps/ rollers give the user the psychological ability to go easier on them self's weather they mean to or not . also machine will do the same area again and again so if i move 1mm in any direction it hits the spot right next to where i just done giving me tighter spaced punctures

You maybe got a link?

Indeed I missed his update post and I surely need some motivation :D

you might want to add my journey to your dermarolling survey data thread

My current regimen:

(2 MONTHS IN)

nw1 early diffiuse thinning

- derma rolling every 7-30 days. ---> 1.5mm titanium real needles

- 1-5 minutes 1-2 times a day scalp massages 3-5 times a week with an anti cellulite wooden brush,

-----------> results after 2 months : better hair quality, scalp feels healthier, scalp more elastic, slight density gains. obviously the crown area is the most painful area when dermarolling because theres more fibrosis.. this regimen is aiming for the marathon this thing is a lifestyle.

sidenote:

I MIGHT use minoxidil for 6-12 months in the end of 2019 to boost follicles, and then drop it, im pretty sure i will keep the gains because my scalp environment will be on point and fibrosis free if i maintain it with dermarolling every 15-45 days + irregular scalp massages with the anti cellulite brush,-----> just like people keep their minoxidil beard gains, its very likely its possible to keep minoxidil gains if your scalp is constantly maintained back to normal.

i invite people to watch my posting history on this website to understand my mindset when it comes to microneedling

Would be much better, if we could just read about needling stories and progresses on this thread.
I am sorry if it is offensive to say, but I am not interested much in reading about arguments and conflicts.
As soon as needling works, let's just try to make every single one of us do it in the best possible way to be able to improve the results of regrowth.

By the way, my redness did not go yet after the second session, especially at the temples. I think for me it goes fully within 2-3 days (I am using 1.5mm needles).
