Before I herniated two lumbar discs (badly) a couple of years ago, I was a hell of a basketball player. Now, even though according to MRI's I'm fully healed, I don't have the confidence in making lateral movements to start playing again seriously. I'm 39 though, so I guess it shouldn't matter to me too much - but it does. I was an elite athlete in general, and even am now at my age - I just don't have the confidence in my back to move how I want.
I'm also one of the ~10-15 best phone app Boggle players in the world (Ruzzle, Word Streak/Scramble with Friends etc.). I also work out 3-4 times per week, strictly weight training. I enjoy reading, but I end up reading analysis/essays online (usually science/tech/politics/philosophy) more than novels, despite enjoying novels immensely.
