Honestly a lot of us here are probably a but narcissistic. We can't stand how baldness has made us inferior. Problem is its a very legitimate issue because this time we aren't just imagining the inferiority

Also I seriously doubt it would be something else as baldness is pretty unique as a huge aesthetic handicap, especially for unmanly men like myself

I was relatively secure before this sh*t, or at least getting there. I was realizing I had no rational reason to have low self esteem. I was short and scrawny but that wasn't the end of the world. Its just baldness that pushes me into subhuman territory

And I think (for some, the % of us that dwell in an unhealthy way about it at times) the fact that it is real, this time, makes it that much more of something we can grab onto, and and obsess over, getting those inferiority feelings out. It's almost cathartic in a way, a sick way. Because it is something physical, we and everybody else can see, we can funnel all of those feeling into this one genetic mistake, and release all of that self hate onto (as if to say "see it's not just in my head this time, look at these shrinking follicles!", and go on these forums where everybody has the same thing to obsess over this time, not whatever variant of mental dissonance you're going through at the moment, which is different for everyone). Because, as you said, the intangible feelings in our minds is something not real.....except it is.

Either way, I'm not trying to just shave it bro you, I'm just saying that there are worse things than our thin hair, and we make it worse with one of them.

oh man this looks like a lot of text. I'm not trying to argue or be a dick, but i'm so exhausted that looking at big blocks of text makes me not want to read it. Can you shorten your posts for us ADD people?

Anyways, i skimmed through it and i agree 100% that "taste is subjective, but quality is not" - the trouble happens when you start arguing over taste. For example, abstract art can be dismissed by some as more easily produced because it appears as random shapes, etc instead of a photo-realistic rendition of a person which requires a different set of skills. If you take two genres of art and pick two of the top artists in each genre and pit them against each other, they will both produce quality work, but depending on the viewer the level appreciation for one or the other will vary. Sometimes taste skews our view of quality. I think that happens in everything to a certain degree, but i do agree that people can intrinsically recognize quality. They can certainly recognize someone who is very good or very bad at something and unless they are seriously biased because of their personal taste they should be able to judge a piece of art fairly.

28 I think, 5'9ish, I would say not bad looking, but he's carrying about 20 extra lbs. She's ok, a relative looks match to be honest.

I'd say he's a 4.5 n she's a 5. Nobody is walking down any runways anytime soon, but no mutants either. Either one of them could do some looks maxing for sure, n it would help, maybe a point and a half if they played their cards just right. He doesn't look bad bald, well shaped head, so a good head of hair would only bump him up so much. Always had somewhat of a buzz cut anyway for the most part. Her, not poor, nor mental, n not fat, although she could lose 15 (about 5'5).

Ha, no, because I'd rather go to the spank bank 2x daily than be with a sub par (compared to what I normal get with)....let's just say, I can barely rise to the occasion for anything less than a true 6. To me a true 6 is fairly attractive, I'd say a good % of girls I've been with have been in that range (I'm pretty tough on rankings in comparison to most).

Well, I personally don't he'd be a 6 as is, just because he had hair. I'm thinking 5.5, but who knows, maybe 6ish (I guess I'm just so used to seeing him without a full head of hair). I'm more of thinking if he lost weight, got in shape, took care of his grooming n style a bit better, it would all work synergistically in combination with the hair to bring maybe a 6.5 out of the deal. That's peak.
