yo @Dench57 and @JohnsonDDG are you guys looking forward to wimbledon?

Lol at this in the middle of a heated debate.

I think Roger has a realistic chance of winning again, a bit concerning he went out of a tournament in the first round though. Rafa will be his biggest obstacle.

If he does win I don't know why people are talking about him "bowing out", he'll want 20 titles for sure, and he's got no reason not to. People were talking about him slowing down at 30, and then a few years ago he was written off, now he's around the same level as his peak which is pretty insane, seeing as he won a Slam in January, why can't he hope to be a contender for at least another year?

His dip in form was nothing to do with conditioning, if there's one guy who can go past mid-30's at around peak level in tennis, it's Roger (I can imagine Novak being the same though when he gets his sh*t together again).

Have you noticed how the forum bullies like each other post?

Just like you are called names, I would suggest that you also do not hold back against these bullies.

Yes I have lol I don't care I sometimes have to take 2 or 3 on at once.

This is the first time I've been pissed off though. I would never in my life treat a woman badly over this disease.

you a tennis fan rudiger?

he has more than a chance, hes a favourite by far. i hope he does it. i love seeing records being broken. ill admit i never thought he'd win a slam again before this years aussie open, espec one not at wimbledon, but fair play to him.

a federer nadal final would be f*****g wicked (not sure of the seedings). their final back in 2008 or whenever it was, was amazing.

fed went out first round of his first tournament since coming back from a break after the hard court season, but then went on to win the halle tourney. he has to be favourite by far. ill be routing for him

Anyways, I have deleted the quoted post. I am willing to let go off all the anger and bitterness.

True he did win the Halle, hopefully this is a good sign.

Do you think he'll go for 20 like I was saying? A lot of people think he'll retire on 19, I don't get it because to my knowledge he hasn't given any indication of retiring, despite being hounded about that possibility for the last 5 years.

Do you play much? I really miss it sometimes. I had a natural talent for it, I was never taught anything, but I played regularly and sometimes against people who were trying to get professional but I could always hold my own (my serving was below par though).

I used to play a lot. i miss it too. i miss it a lot actually. i try to go to wimbledon every year. i love it man. have your ever been to wimbledon?

i dont he'll retire if he wins his 19th. i think he'll keep on playing for a few more years yet. hes fit, hes enjoying it still, hes competitive, hes managing his time well. he has a few more years left in him.

it should be a great tournament this year.

I used to do stewarding at Premier League football matches, so I had the opportunity to do the same at Wimbledon, but it was too expensive to stay in London even for 2 weeks (was a poor student at the time and low on money).

But it is ok for women to treat everyone else badly and get away with it? When I was in first year of college, I was bullied because some girls started calling me 'gay' (in a pejorative manner). I was shunned by entire groups of people. When I used to walk past by some people, they used to laugh at me. I am still self-conscious till this day. Not a single guy stood up for me. Why? because they were 'poor' girls.

Anyways, I have deleted the quoted post. I am willing to let go off all the anger and bitterness.

You should wear your orientation like armor. Don't let people get to you. I'm a lone wolf myself but my youngest brother is gay so I know all about that. I'll say to you what I say to him; do what the f*** you want in this world and don't give a f*** what anyone else thinks.

It's like this forum, the best guys whatevr, antydhor, bridgeburn, inbeforethecure etc they don't get involved with bullshit

well if you get a chance whenever your over here you should go mate. its a great day out. queuing up for tickets is a pain in the arse but its so damn popular you cant avoid it. unless your rich

and you can smooth talk you way into the show courts if theres only a couple of you going. get to watch the big players for the price of a ground ticket.

Are you going this year?

I'll not get a chance this year I'm pretty sure, but yeah now that you've put it in my head, it is something I've always wanted to do. I can imagine being mesmerised by the super human levels they reach at the top of competition, not even the top seeds or anything, just professional players, reaching shots you can't imagine getting with ridiculous reaction times.

I've never seen a match, but I almost saw Jelena Dokic playing once, when she was in peak GOAT hotness, saw her leaving the court.
