I have done this a few times while skimming the forum on my phone. My damn thumb will hit the "dislike" option. Then, if the post is a good one I will correct it and hit "like."

Now, I think the person on the receiving end of this will get an alert saying such and such has disliked one of their comments.
Then a second later that same person gets another alert saying that such and such "likes" one of their comments.
It must be confusing.
This time I just pressed "like". Yeah, I have a giant thumb too. ;) I will ask Admin if there is a plug in that allows the forum to wait for a millisecond before sending the notification. At the same time, this would mean one would have to detach the notification functionality and make it asynchronous. Are you an IT person too?

Oh I agree so much here. Full black/dark brown hair in middle age might give like a "coffin look." Reminds me of the makeover service given to old dead people, when it's OTT! It's because you immediately notice something isn't right because you see the skin and hair colour don't match up in terms of youthfulness. Looks embarrassing and desperate.

Women can get away with it as it's more normal to keep dying it, even then they would have to work with lighter colours,as a minimum light brown.

Martin Kemp went from full dyed brown hair to all white, within a short time frame. He can probably still pull off both but he looks much better with the white imo. Ideally a a dye which allows some greys to remain would have been best - and they do exist.

Coloring for men only works for dudes who still look like they're under like 45 in terms of face/skin. Otherwise something just looks...off

Full head of grey hair is a good look anyway if a dude is aging well in every other way. Distinguished yet youthful look

That's a classic example of grey looking good. He could dye it completely to the normal colour or half half and still get away with it. I don't have any greys at the moment and I'm in my early 30s. At a party I recently got asked for ID to show I'm 18. Clearly I don't look 18 but anyone under 23 can get ID checks so it shows my skin is good. He was shocked I was much older and embarrassed. My plan is to dye until 50ish then stick with a salt and pepper look or go full grey. I prefer the uniform white/grey look.

Just don't be like this.

People also tend to think I'm younger than my age. I seem to have inherited the good aging genetics of my mom's side in this regard (got dad's male pattern baldness genes). I've also started using tretinoin in the last several months, and I plan to continue with it indefinitely. Between that, maintaining an elite level physique(including probably starting trt in my late 30's), and hopefully gaining/maintaining a full head of hair, I'm actually really looking forward to that full grey mane atop my young looking features if all goes as I'm hoping

What's funny about the pic I posted of Cruise is I'm pretty sure his hair was dyed to get it to the grey color, as that movie is over 10 years old. Anyway, he's clearly been dying his hair back to brown for years, but he gets away with it easy as for a while now he looks/comes across as at least 10 years younger than his age.
Here's a pic of him from about 2 years ago when Edge of Tomorrow came out(so he was about 52):

No second thought at all to the fact that he has no greys.

Other 50+ dudes who can easily get away with coloring:

Two things with my hair:

1. I will never let it all fall out.

2. I will never let it all go grey.

Fight until the bitter end.

Very few people are born NW2. It's just a lesser level of suck. If I was a NW2 and had the option of restoring my teenage hairline I would do that.
NW2 may be a lesser stage of male pattern baldness but still male pattern baldness. Once we can treat it we will be able to treat it all.

I think women should also be comfortable displaying their natural greys if they prefer

Don't believe you have much say in the matter. I hope finasteride works, but if it doesn't? Would you attempt dutasteride? transplants? I am also fighting to the death. I refuse to be bald, and if I am? It will only be for the 8-10 months my 7k fue transplants are growing in.

Bucky, if Turkey is a war zone and too dangerous for Americans to visit, who is your second choice besides Erdogan? Is it Rahal? And how much donor hair do you have left?
