Would You Date A Woman Who Wears A Wig?

Men dont have the luxury of wearing a piece with out being scrutinized.

Its a total joke to most women. A dude wearing a wig lol.

All Smoke and mirrors.

You will be a big laughing stock once everyone finds out.

I was once in a bar where a guy wearing a wig that I know was mocked by a big, bald, biker guy. At that moment, despite all of my depression over hair loss, I would've rather been bald than have been wearing a wig.

Men care, we learn to not show that we care. We learn that any insecurity is viewed negatively by women.

Totally correct. That is why I cannot stand when people just assume that most balding men are not adversely affected because they are not on a hair loss forum or are not crying in public. Most people I come into contact with would never guess how badly I am suffering, because I do not wear it on my sleeve. And honestly, what balding guy today would?

They are all insecure. Wearing hats every where they go.

All of them cope in different ways.

A bald needs to have top notch game if he doesn't want to get cucked by a privileged in the same battle grounds. Even the most handsome guys I see with jacked up physiques hide behind hats to cover there NW2-3.

Forget wearing wigs, men can't even be open about treating their hairloss without seeming weird. When I have people coming over I have to make sure my minoxidil and finasteride bottles aren't sitting out in the open.

I don't get why there's a stigma, but there is. You have acne, you treat it. Your teeth turn yellow, you treat them. Your hair falls out..."just shave it and stop worrying bro!"

Makes no sense.

Even fat people get celebrated for doing the least bit of physical exertion. Sloth and gluttony gets a pass... BUT OH NO, being genetically predisposed to alopecia is a cardinal sin!

People make me sick.

Meh. I never want to wear a wig again.

I get nightmares thinking about all the bullshit I went through. Most people have no idea. They think it's all a matter of just tossing it on and having fun. So much turmoil and a roller coated ride of emotions. Everything you dohas to revolve around the safety of your wig aparatus.

Don't even get me started on the intimate encounters.

I went through so much bullshit. I would rather have thin hair then wear a piece.

However... if I was bald(nw5-7) I would wear one.

Of course they snicker at us for wearing hairpieces and wanting hair.
But then they chase after the guys with hair and get creeped-out when unattractive bald guys make a play for them.
This is the one and only thing about hair loss that makes me annoyed with women - they're lying and unreasonable
attitudes towards men who want to do something about their hair loss.

I have nothing to add, everyone else said it well Mellie. For a young man to go bald is equally as bad as for a young woman to go bald. The advantage for men is that it isn't freakishly uncommon, though they're still in a small and unfortunate minority. The advantage for women is that they can wear a wig without stigma and still look good. On balance I'd say for that reason alone, young balding men have it worse than young balding women.

I disagree with that completely. If by young you mean around 20 then I would say it is worse for a young woman to go bald than a young man. Balding at 20 as a woman would be horrifying. I have no idea how a girl that age could go through that. I am 22, and I don't think any of my female friends could handle it in the slightest. The thing is women going through male pattern baldness are almost never 20. They are mostly in there mid to late 30s and up.

Women can wear wigs and look great without facing prejudice. Men can either go cue ball and look like sh*t in most cases or wear a wig, look decent but live in fear of scorn and mockery. This alone gives women an advantage. If men could wear wigs without being judged line women can, then I would agree, it would be much worse for women.

You have hit the nail on the head but only to a degree. There is less ugliness towards balding women who wear hairpieces than balding men who wear hairpieces, but there is still some ugliness towards balding women who wear hairpieces. When I had my hair a couple balding women tried to pick up on me (each at a different time and place) and while I understood them wearing wigs I did think some "stuff" about them being balding women wearing wigs. I thought about what they looked like under their wigs. I thought that they seemed peculiar just because they were balding (under their wigs) women, and I also thought some other stuff about them and their baldness but I can't recall everything that I had on my mind at the time.

And I've heard other guys say sh!t about balding women even though the women wear wigs. I've seen it on TV and heard it in songs as well.

Balding women do NOT get a 100% free pass for their baldness by simply wearing wigs so it's unfair to say she has an easy solution to her hair loss problem. Saying that a wig is an easy solution for a balding woman's hair loss problem invalidates her complaint, concern, and anguish over her hair loss but this *easy* solution is not really a solution.

But a bald headed woman she'll love you each day
You can beat her and kick her but she'll always stay
'Cause she knows no one's comin' to steal her away
Hurray for a bald headed woman.

Wow, that hurt.

Wow what a philosophical song, I love it, thank you.

The song is by a moderately popular country and western artist. He's kind of a big name in country and western
music. This means he has a sizable amount of fans. Fans get some of their socialization cues from the artists that they like.

Is this coming to the United States, or just Canada?

Was hoping there would be more medications in the US. But for some reason, they don't
get legalized here.

Neither. It's coming to Mexico first, then USA or wherever else. Personally, I dont care about locale, I'm willing to fly out. I got a friend in Mexico anyway.
