His hairline is way below average if you compare his to hispanics where I live. I think he is slightly below average for a caucasian male.
I think the average 50 year old is usually around a nw4

As long as you get a transplant, you can maintain a low Norwood buzz cut. I don't think you are heading for a high Norwood anytime soon.
I'm quite poor so I wont be able to afford a transplant any time soon.

I'm also not using propecia so it may be irresponsible to do so

Come on dude, you can't really be making this comparison.

I just don't see how managing weight and skin health is comparable to a condition that requires the extreme measures of hormone therapy and/or intrusive cosmetic surgery to keep your looks from getting rekt

If the women are going from attractive 7s to 5s then they know what it is like to lose the interest from the opposite sex. They will no the struggle in their own way.

Losing hair never experiencing youth versus growing old like a normal humanbeing. Yeah, they sure have it hard.
True - I always say that the people unlucky enough to be a nw4 at 22 or something are very hard done by in many ways.

Its awful to think that some people go for such a thing so young. Everyone should be allowed ten years of slaying.

I really hope I don't care half as much but I think it will still bother me.

Lets hope we have a hair solution by 2026

When I was 18, I saw some of my friends starting to lose their hair and I thought if I can keep my hair till I am 25, I will be happy. When I turned 25, I thought if I can keep my hair till I am 35, I will be really happy. Well, I am turning 35 in a few days and I care about my hair and looks just as much as I did when I was 18. Now I have wised up and stopped putting an age limit on when I will stop caring about hair. I see even seventy year old guys spending tens of thousands of dollars and getting hair transplant. It makes me realize that some men always care about their hair, no matter what the age. I suspect I am one of those men. If my hair-loss ever progresses beyond NW2.5 and hair transplants can't fix it, I will resort to toupee.

You already know you look great with a buzz cut. Actually, I saw photos of you on another forum and you look so much better with a buzz cut than with your hair grown out. You will always be able to date no matter how old you are so that is not a true limiting belief. My mom's neighbor who is 90 is still dating. My grandfather dated until he was 90 and even carried v**** with him just in case he could convince someone his age to have sex but most of them declined. As far as your career, anything you do with an act of "paying it forward" will be enough to keep you appreciating what you do. You have alot going for you. I would gladly trade places with you any time.

One of my friends grandfather, who is around 70 years old goes on a new date every week. He is overweight, completely bald and has various health issues such as diabetes, gum problems etc. He finds women in their fifties and some times even in late forties.

Plus, for most women who are not balding, ageing starts to become a problem at... 30? 35? When they are already fully grown and have already lived their youth at "full" speed.

We have people here who were told they looked 35 when they where 20, all because of hairloss.

Ageing deprives you of a second youth. Premature hairloss deprives you of your actual youth.

Exactly, it's like being born in wealth then having to live as middle-class, whereas with balding it's like being in debt, it gets higher and higher and you have less and less options.

If I really wanted a hair transplant I would just get a second job, you could do this if you want one.

I think men with fading looks due to aging poorly can relate to women with fading looks who are aging poorly.

I think men and women who are in 20s its very different thing going on.

I don't get the separating the sexes with aging. It's not easy anymore for men to age gracefully. Only going to harder for men to age with each generation.

some people just age better than others a lot is lifestyle and a lot is luck of genetics.

It's different, with men we get harder lines, squarer shapes. Clint Eastwood even in his 30's had a ton of wrinkles and looked amazing. Check out when he was young and when he had a rougher look and NW2!

Joan, once mentioned most men age better than women.
I think men tend to look better than women when they get some wrinkles and some saggy skin. Shookwun put up a picture of Dolph Lundgren a few days back. I didn't find him attractive in his youth, but now? Gorgeous! I don't think a woman his age with the same signs of aging would look good. My opinion.

Yup, it sucks for both of us and in some ways I take comfort knowing that most people are going through the same thing.

Its a way of knowing that you are no alone.

Men's ageing is a LOT more forgivable than women's. Just look at the hottest man in the world (according to me) - David Gandy. Lots of wrinkles, but hot as hell! A woman with that amount of wrinkles though? NOT so hot unfortunately. Women's beauty is tied up in our youth, different for men.

I found lot of women with wrinkles attractive.

I think the ones who are genuinely good looking and they look after themselves then they can be stunning for a long time.

I haven't come across a lot of men who think like you when it comes to women's ageing, unfortunately.
I don't know - I think the women who look after themselves and continue to make an effort often look better then the younger ones.
