Foam is cheaper if irritation is your only concern. Then again supposedly some people lose ground when switching from liquid to foam. I might try Dr. Lee's #540 or #500 myself. I'll let you know how it goes.

Yep I've heard some horror stories as well so that's why I'm thinking about Dr Lee's.. which product is most identical to Kirkland 5% minoxidil?

Probably the #500, but it has less ppg and more alcohol for better absorption and less irritation. I've never used it but Cassin says it's good. Let me know if you like when/if you try it.

Hey Zeroheat (or anybody who can relate),

I'm like a month into propecia. My stomach has been getting very big. I did a google search and saw that one of the mentioned side effects involve increase in belly fat.

Have you experienced similar side effects when you started? Weight gain in the belly area and in breasts?

Re: Zeroheat's Story-(Temple loss, Big 3, 1 yr update pg. 21)

Wow it's been a long time. I've been very busy getting ready to go back to my home country after graduating in August.

Today marks:
Proscar 1/4th: 1 year
minoxidil: 10 months
Nizoral: 1 year

Hair feels stable. Some days it looks better, some days it looks worse but I believe I'm maintaining my regrowth. I figured I'd update you guys with new pics.. pics are from my webcam, don't have digital camera at the moment. My hair is slightly wet here, 10 mins after the shower.

I'm on generic proscar (5mg finateride) now, from local pharmacy. I'm saving even more money and that's always a good thing. I really should've asked for generic version from the beginning but didn't know they existed..

I'll also be entering Korean army later this year to fulfill my mandatory military duties (every Korean man must do this). I'll be in the army for 22 months, and since Korean army is very very strict (they take away all your personal belongings), I'm not really sure if I can use minoxidil/nizoral combo there. I can take finasteride 100% though, since I have a prescription for it. I'm hoping I can continue to use minoxidil there.

My update will be very limited from now on. I should be more active once I finish my military duties.. so long North America!

While in the army just keep your hair real short.Show em a prescription for MIN or tell em its somekind of a hair grooming agent :punk:

If you dont use MIN for 22 months, you will most likely lose 70-80% of what you have gained in the front and it might never work the same when you use it again.

Good Luck.

If they dont allow it,transfer the minoxidil to an empty container and tell them it is an aftershave lotion.

Zeroheat I am so happy for you, awesome results man. I would like to switch from Rogaine to Kirkland because I know it's cheaper and effective as rogaine. I believe you get yours from ebay. Do you mind telling me the sellers name or copy and paste link here. Thanks !!
