@mann02: that is very unfortunate.. sides are real and if it continues you should quit.
@Topgun: I saw your pics and honestly, I'm not sure if you are balding.
@mann02: just stay on the regime and see what happens! That's the best we can do.. other than hair transplant.

Well I've read some other posts and google stuffs...I think zinc can replace my finasteride..what do youthink? 50gm a day

I think zinc is a good supplement, but no way it can replace finasteride.

So there's no alternative to finasteride?my professor in school told me that finasteride can destroy kidney and liver he scared me..thats why I'm quitting

If you are scared then you should quit.. but you should also accept going bald and perhaps look at hair pieces etc. I can definitely respect that decision

Yep, in the army.. was not able to check the forum at all. Here is the latest pic. Still going strong with finasteride/minoxidil. I did not use nizoral for about 3 months (forgot to bring them to Korea!). Dropping nizoral didn't do much damage though.

WOW!! thats impressive man!! i am 39 , my dad is pretty bald , and THANKFULLY my hairloss only really started about 5yrs ago.. i have been ok up til now.. but i think the big 40 is coming up and my hair is deciding go depart more and more! specially in the front and temples.. :O( .. i am feeling horrible but started finasteride about 3 weeks ago now, after being on it for about 2yrs, stupidilyl stopping due to money !! GRR so i lost about 8mths of not having it.. :O( .. my hair was looking better , but then its got worse, so i found the money and im back on it.. :O)

Thinking of starting Kirkland.. but have NO idea where to get it.. im in london and even though the thought of a shed scares me, i think i have to do it!

So my question is .. .where do i buy it for a good price??

Hi ya'll, still going strong with fix/minoxidil. I rarely use nizoral these days and I have dropped my minoxidil application to 1x a day (1 ml) for quite some time now (something like 5 months). Hair is doing fine unk:

Those are seriously incredible results. In the next couple of weeks I'm going to be adding Rogaine to my regimen along with either spironolactone Cream or RU.

I'm avoiding Finasteride at all costs, am not willing to take the risk of side effects so topical ONLY for me.
