where do you get your bio-estrogen cream?

It's always out of stock so you have to be quick. Wasn't like this before.

deathdiss, how long does one can of bisestro last? I was able to find a website that sells it, but it costs almost double than Iherb.

Hi there,

So I wanted to share my results to you guys. These results were not using minoxidil or propecia or any other kind of weird drug. So I basically keep my hair results when I stop my regime.

I used rosemary oil, peppermint oil, bi-estro(estrial&estriol) cream, emu oil and ketoconazole 2% cream

As for diet it was very very strict. I stayed away from all grains and dairy products and ate a diet rich with healthy fats. I can go into more detail with that if you like.

Regarding supplements I took:

1000mg grape seed extract daily,

k2 pills 4 to 5 pills a day

Zinc picco 22mg around 5-6 of them daily

vitamin D3, 10,000 IU daily

Half way through i started using a derm pen which really accelerated things to another level

if you have questions leave them below and I'll get back to you.
Just wondering why you're using the ketoconazole 2% cream in your regiment. It's great that you don't have to use powerful medications to get those results. Also how did you come up with your Choice of products your using/ very interesting!

Biestro is the only controversial item here, but systematics is very rare. I look forward to his end of december progress.

sorry to disappoint but I've lost a ton of motivation for the past 1-2 weeks so the results might not be that noticeable. Just a heads up on that.

i kind of get sick and tired of eating the same stuff for months on end and scrubbing with topicals twice a day for around 30-45 min

Taeian actually recommended these things on his blog post. i just basically followed his regime and started noticing hair growth difference.

The regime is his to credit. the diet i just chose what i would eat without fake food(bread pasta) and dairy.

i might just consult him for an easy diet plan so i can just speed up the results and get this over with honestly.

Maybe the regimen is too extensive to be sustainable every single day.

Maybe do the bi-estro and keto every day, but do the micro needling less frequently, same with the oil applications.

yeah you're right...im doing it improper with my spending habits...eating avacados and salmon every single day adds up.

i need to switch the diet up to be more affordable and "fun" cuz im constantly eating the same stuff every single day...and you can imagine it does your head in.

the oils is easy to afford though and last a good amount of time. I'll just consult taeian for a custom prep meal plan because the results can come in way faster if im hitting the macro nutrients properly.

I was also very sceptical about 2% Ketoconazole especially regarding its effectiveness for male pattern baldness and safety long term (because I know Ketoconazole isn't typically mainly used for male pattern baldness, but then I realized none of the Hairloss FDA approved medications have ever been solely for "Hair Loss" alone. Hair regrowth/ improvement was always a side effect/secondary feature for what the treatments were intended for.

So I did some research and found this really interesting study done on 2% Minoxidil vs 2% Ketoconazole applied for 6 months. Surprisingly Ketoconazole was found to be far more safe (by 45%) than Minoxidil and had similar results at the 6 months point. The only difference was that Minoxidil saw results starting from 4 months, while Ketoconazole had results only starting from 6 months. However, taking into account that Ketoconazole is far safer than Minoxidil, therefore Ketoconazole is actually superior. Although this specific study was done for FPHL (Female Patterned Hair Loss) the logic can be applied to male pattern baldness with similar if not better results. Also there's probably quite a few studies online for Ketoconazole and male pattern baldness.

Read this link thoroughly, it's very long but very informative if you have any doubts:

Some very interesting points from this study:

"Topical minoxidil is the FDA approved treatment for FPHL; however, it has no anti-androgenic effects (Kanti et al. 2018). Minoxidil works through its metabolite namely “minoxidil sulphate” to mediate augmented proliferative and vasodilatory actions. This in turn is expected to increase the anagen phase and decrease the telogen phase of the hair cycle to promote new hair growth (Messenger and Rundegren 2004). Unfortunately, topical minoxidil application has a narrow safety margin with bothering side effects including scalp contact dermatitis, headaches, and facial hypertrichosis especially in females (Hagemann et al. 2005; Blume-Peytavi et al. 2011a, b; La Placa et al. 2015). In agreement with this, the frequency of treatment-related side effects was 55% with the minoxidil group versus just 10% in the KCZ group, in the presented work. It seems that the main advantage of topical KCZ over topical minoxidil is the true paucity of side effects. In fact, in 2013, the FDA has reported that topical ketoconazole formulations have not been associated with adrenal problems, liver damage, or drug interactions (Food and Drug Administration 2013). Also, the European Medicines Agency recommendations’ is to use topical KCZ preparations safely as the likely absorbed amounts throughout the body are negligible (European Medicines Agency 2013).

Finally, the levels of patients’ satisfaction did not show a statistically significant difference between the two studied groups which indicates that the results of topical KCZ are very much appreciated by patients like topical minoxidil. However, KCZ emulsion is superior to minoxidil solution as it almost lacks side effects. It would be interesting to investigate if combining topical minoxidil with its vasodilating actions to topical KCZ with its anti-androgenic and anti-inflammatory effects... "

The only thing is that this study used 2% Ketoconazole Topical (Shampoo).. So I'm not sure why @deathdiss is using 2% Ketoconazole cream... Because I would think it's easier to use a Shampoo...

Also @deathdiss don't worry much about having stopped your regimen for a week or 2 as long as you're getting back soon, because by you having stopped for that short period would provide us with proof as to whether your and Taiean's theory (about keeping the hair gains even once one stops the treatment) is true

Another study I found on Ketoconazole, not as informative as the previous study I linked though:

This is another good article on 2% Ketoconazole Shampoo:

" Ketoconazole shampoos like Nizoral are often touted online as being one of the "big three" hair loss prevention products, the other being finasteride and minoxidil.

While the current studies don’t yet show ketoconazole as being as much of a help for hair loss as finasteride and minoxidil, it could be effective at helping you create a good environment for hair growth. You should note that the studies which reviewed ketoconazole for hair loss used the prescription strength 2% solution. In the US you can buy the 1% solution over the counter but would need a prescription for the 2% ketoconazole shampoo.

If you decide to add an over the counter ketoconazole shampoo to your hair loss prevention regimen, it’s suggested to use it once a week. You can use a gentler DHT blocking shampoo the rest of the week."

I think this is very interesting, because although they say Finasteride and Minoxidil statistically has better results than Ketoconazole, many people don't even respond to Finasteride or Minoxidil and most people have side effects when using Minoxidil or Finasteride, so Ketoconazole might be the solution to non responders of Minoxidil and Finasteride without the side effects.

One last source with interesting information on Ketoconazole Shampoo:

"The reason ketoconazole shampoo can treat hair loss, according to hair loss expert and Keeps Medical Advisor Dr. Antonella Tosti, is because “it contains an anti-fungal agent that can help fight the inflammation that is associated with androgenic alopecia.”

The shampoo acts as a scalp treatment—it kills the yeast, inflammation decreases, and hair loss ceases. In fact, several clinical studies have found that ketoconazole boosts the size of individual hair follicles.

We should note that the FDA hasn’t yet approved the use of ketoconazole for hair loss treatment, but many doctors consider it a key part of any treatment plan. “I recommend ketoconazole shampoo to many of my patients who have androgenic alopecia, even if they don’t have dandruff,” Dr. Tosti says."

Yeah hanged up with him and when we spoke he said he wouldn't mind creating a personal diet for me since we're friends. The usual charge for his diet plans are high but then again people are very happy with the results they get from him whether it's building muscles, fixing health or growing back hair.

A small update:

even though I am making hair gains Taeian reviewed my hair protocal and says it's lacking in PUFA fats which is so important for hair growth.

so my diet was pretty much SHITTT.

He's agreed to hook me up with a custom plan with my preference of 3 meals a day.
