Re: 32 months on the big 3 and counting... (32month pics update)

It is a very personal choice how one initially defines his regimen strategy and when he chooses to change it. I chose to "go with the flow", the flow being the massively conducted ( biased maybe? who knows- it has happened before) pharmaceutical trials. My logic was that specific substances that led to regrowth in the majority of people participating had a good chance of working for me too.
As I see it, one can go for an all-out war. Play all the heavy guns, throwing knives-missiles-rocks all at the same time. This seems to have serious advantages and serious disadvantages. I see people with two-page regimens, I bet these dudes feel good for doing the "best they can" in their minds. Peace of mind... It couldnt hurt, it might work, lets play all our cards nomatter how likely or proven it is they will work. Serious disadvantages? yes there are.1) Safety. Is the combination of those drugs (let alone that dutasteride did not came out as a hairloss treatment officially) safe for you? Is their effectiveness in inhibiting enzymes simply additive? I don't have a shred of knowledge to answer any of these. dutasteride blocks both types, finasteride blocks one. So what is the logic behind deciding on using both instead of using more dutasteride, more finasteride or more of both? 2)Difficulty in attributing effectiveness, forcing you to carry a bunch of vitamins/drugs/topicals, being afraid that if you cut something out, it could be the key to your success till now. 3) Difficulty in fitting your regimen routine into your daily program. A complicated regimen is a regimen that is trickier to comply with and stay on consistently. In your case its just one more pill pop. (Fortunately) 4)Nowhere to run to. If a regimen that includes every available treatment starts to fail, what are your options?
To end my rumbling, when you have started on a regimen and it has given fruits, it is a risk to modify it. I cannot offer any input on what would be best, my concerns are merely regarding your safety in the long term. Honestly. That said, I am leaning towards the "don't touch a thing" approach. You have had impressive results and your hair will keep improving too, just make sure that you support your choices-even those already made, with personal research that goes beyond "I saw a guy that used dutasteride and finasteride and had regrowth" type of arguments.
