yes it is a sad world, and a sad existence for a young white man to have pre-mature male pattern baldness in this day and age, it sucks.

btu what choice do i have, society is VERY judgemental over this sh*t.

i dont blame them, other people, young friends or 20 or 30 something women, if i saw an early 20s to late 30s white friend sly bald my reaction would be shock and awe (and not in the positive sense)

especailly if he had long hair in the past!

my reaciton woud be "this is way to early, you dont look normal, why have you done this" etc.

in fact when i wore my wig my neibors thought i grew my hair or something, its like serisouly wtf you really thinki waws shaving thick NW1 hair for kicks?

so far i havet met any friends from the past who remember me with hair, then ith no hair, then back to hair again.

i kinda just ignore them and pretend everythings normal.

acutally i met one of them in the street, he said "you grew your hair again!!!", i tried to explain to him that im balding and wearing a wig now (i was 24, this guy was 22 or something).

the guy thought i wass nuts, his reaction was like i was speaking a different language, he was totally confused, aparently its impossible to have hairloss from age 20-30.

i guess i got rid of my hair soo quik some people didnt notice my hairloss before hand.

its kinda liek being 21-22 and having a small bald spot, getting rid of all my hair entirely (overeacting) then at 24 wearing wig.

its a bit wierd becuase people see me with hair , then no hair, then hair again.

i guess people just assume im a bit of a nut job, like one of those people that collects his toenail clippings in a shoe box and sometimes gets rid of all his hair entirely when he has a full head of hair.

but then again teh bassist from mudvayne does that.

Yes I fully understand what you say about the shaved head analogy.I get crap all the time from people. This "style" will never be accepted, especially in todays materialistic, want, want, want society.

well if we were f*****g black we'd be set for life.

i cant beleive this crap affects white guys 50x more (or whatever) than black guys

True, but they get persecuted just for being black.I call it baldism,it is a form of racism,in the same sense that we can't help being bald, anymore than someone can for being a different colour.

ye i call it baldism to.

racism does exist, but if a black man wishes to live in a population consisting mainly of white people and has trouble fitting in that is a little different to racism.

i can see how a black man will feel left out in the UK as example, but thats not really racism.

anyway i have seen black people with NW5 clipped down stuff before (think statham in transporter 3), and it makes little difference on them, even when they are showing male pattern baldness, i saw 1 or 2 in the street and they look pretty normal, but when i see a white guy with NW5 clipped down its like a train wreck to his face and its sad.

yes i knwo statham does it but tis rare to pull it off and if you DON'T do the beard then it's pretty bad.

The problem with statham is that he shaves with clippers.(he still has head on top of his head, just). If he decided to go sly, then his sex appeal would go right down IMO.

there are mock up pics of statham sly, they dont look good

He doesn't look good sly because being sly doesn't look good!Regarding willis, travolta being sly for a movie,no doubt it was for a villian role, not for a romantic, ladies man role. :)

no willis does normal-ish roles sly.

statham is just a hitman, hes not a sex symbol, i dont htnk willis and statham are sex symbols with the bald head.

i dont think sly bald is ugly, nd clipped down horshoe w/ beard is "sexy", willis in late 40s in tears of the sun is like statham in early 40s for transporter 3.

after tearss of the sun willis was sly, and has been sly for a while, its not that diferent really, you're still bald and dont have the facial symetry that the hair provides, its jsut that the beard help re-align things a little bit.

the stuff at the sides doesnt really do much, it just proves u have male pattern baldness rather than looking like a mental patient or some white guy nut job that thought ti would be a good idae to get rid of all his hair entirely.

im m pretty sure that forum has guideline rules that says "i will not care how other people percieve or judge me" type thing.

its kinda depressing, there basically saying they dont care how "normal" people perceive there "look" but that is not how human beings are programmed, they are programmed to feel accepted into society and being white and sly bald isnt really socailly acceptable (well it is, but barely).

most people just look at you and feel shame or embarassed for you, its like a social wheelchair of some kind in fact a lot of "groups" might hate you, such as long haired rockers even though billy corgan is sly bald etc. its still not normal to be in that "rocker" stereotype and have no hair!

its really "alarming" socially to have no hair, its just that people around you have gotten useed to it, but people are LIKELY talking about you behind your back ( iw as sly at 22 btw), they might ask you WHY you have no hair even though its pretty f*****g obvious that you have a pretty horendous balding pattern very early and your trying ot clean it up and look the best you can but the method to look the best you can makes you look abnormal but its better than the senior citizen hair "style" which obviosuly isnt a style, btu sly bald is a style, a new style but its f*****g wierd though, its like your trapped socially never being "normal".

but then again it would be worse to be in 80s, ad have a full head of hair in 20s then become horshoe in 30s ala george constanza, becuase i really do prefer the sly look over the grandpa hair look and woudl prefer that if i had to choose.

Some of you guys are living in a negative bubble where you only listen to small minded, and quite frankly idiots. Unfortunately, that includes listening to yourselves.

No intelligent normal people hate 'baldies'. It truly is 'THE PERSON' as a whole that people either like or hate.

I don't even want to post the names of extremely intelligent, respected at the highest levels of society, etc. 'bald' people, on here. If you haven't seen them, then perhaps you need to change what you're doing with your life/mind.

no honestly society is unwelcome of a white bald person

you will never see a president of a first world country bald + white.

you will -almost- never see famous actors bald and white on the movie screen.

you will -almost- never see a -fully- bald + white weather man/newsreporter or something to that affect.

the "hero" will never be bald, even the regular joe in the tv show or movie wont be bald(ing).

its just not NORMAL to be balding unless you have a super old face like senior citizen face.

and being sly bald is just - i dont' know- its different, its never been done before in human history, its a new thing, but i dont hink its totally fine and ok and status qou to be fully bald and white unless he is in a badss stereotype vin diesel/stone cold steve austin.

honlety if i was 6 2 and built like a truck and had earings and tanneed my facesociety would react to my sly baldness the same way society reacts to a typical NW1, and see me as "normal", but wihtout hair im just a guy who is missing hair and looking abnormal.

im pretty sure UCMan will chime in on this post i made before.

although he is a phony balding man, trying to clean things up to look pretty, he is aware that his solution to hide away in his shaving is hardly ideal.

Are you trying to tell me that these:
- president of a first world country
- famous actors
- weather man/newsreporter
- tv show "hero", even regular joe in the tv show or movie

Are the most normal things going on in this world?

How about real life heros? None of them are bald right? :shakehead:
