If hair follicles had to be grown in vitro and then implanted, you'd still need hair transplant doctors performing the treatment... and if we finally an unlimited supply of follicles, every balding man would then have a legit option to go for an hair transplant but the demand for hair transplant doctors would be INSANE then...

Mr. Kobren may have many fine qualities as an individual but I have trouble trusting his sincerity as a true hair loss sufferer. Maybe if he'd take the time out to display a picture of himself "back in the day" during the onset of his hair loss. He's either lazy or I'm stupid, but listening to him over the years I've grown a little weary of his incessant propecia plugs. I'ld be very surprised if he expressed a real interest in traveling outside his comfort zone to help expedite this new and exciting enterprise. He'll be the better man for it if I'm wrong and I hope I am.

There's a problem with using celebrities for hair loss.

After I found out I have tinnitus, along with my mom, dad and sister, I decided to raise some awareness and was in talks with PR from the American Tinnitus Association. I asked about using other celebrities with the condition, like Chris Martin, Barbra Streisand, Larry King, Steve Martin, Bono, Sylvester Stallone, Cher and of William Shatner. Of that entire list, Shatner is the only spokesperson. I asked why the other celebrities are reluctant to help out and its because they DONT want to be seen as having some kind of 'disability' as it hurts their image and jeopardizes potential gigs.

So yeah... while celebrities would give a HUGE boost, we'd also have to try real hard and reach out to as many as possible. I guarantee you, John Travolta would go for a cure so fast, this dude's career has hit rock bottom, he gets ZERO gigs and he's gone from being an A-lister. That's gotta be a damn low feeling.

You have no idea how marketing works do you, we have to go where the prospects are already. Obviously most will not want to do it, but there is a few who will and that would be huge. So I suggest you stop talking like you know how everything works and what doesn't. I bet if someone in a uniform would go to your house and asked for you car keys, you would give it straight away and not even care. You have to show you have an opinion and show what matters or else no one will hear anything you want to change.

If I had to put my money on one, it would probably be India. Their regulations seem to be the most linient, but then again, there is a gang of scam artists up there, with nigam as the authority figure.
