Makes a ton of sense. So it basically is has effects like finasteride/dutasteride in the way of increased aromatization so that you may not even need E with it?
Some say so, some not. In my eyes, you don't need to, the only reason to take it is: when you need to compensate the spike in T.

A user said that Bicalutamide is 85% more effective than finasteride+minoxidil. Which makes actually sense.

Only long-term risk with bica I would assume is: hepatotoxicity, which can be avoided by a "healthy" life-style.

Agree Janey. Believe me I am trying to read and learn stuff but it is like you are in a huge never-ending Labyrinth. Thank you.
I feel that my chemistry and biology education was less than ideal for me. Learning about receptors and the magical effects of HRT is fascinating to me as is the science of attractiveness.

Very likely, you may not need E.
Directly from Pharmacology:
The increase in LH levels leads to an elevation in androgen and estrogen levels. At a dosage of 150 mg/day, bicalutamide has been found to increase testosterone levels by about 1.5- to 2-fold (59–97% increase) and estradiol levels by about 1.5- to 2.5-fold (65–146% increase).

That might explain the variability in results going solo with AA's.

I'm saying that, since finasteride, dutasteride, bica all increase T, this is one of the reasons that RU has gained popularity since it has the same binding affinity as T
Yes! Tho, not enough to actually compete against other androgens as well! And topically it is just a matter of HOW well it will reach the follicle. Hm
