What do you predict with my current status? 500mg flutamide daily regimen, 1 mg finasteride daily, 4 mg estradiol daily, minoxidil 5% fos times, ketoconaxol every day shampoo.
you add spironolactone?

25 mg of bicalutamide is sufficient, it is very expensive in Argentina. that's why I use flutamide
if I use 25 mg bicalutamide and 125 mg of flutamide + finasteride and the 4 mg of estradiol? what do you think?
I'm jealous jajajajaja

I sware Hispanics tend to have some of the lowest hairlines

25mg bica should be fine without flut. It has a very long half life. flut is worse on liver than cypro so combining both might be a bad idea. I recommend either flutimide alone or bica alone. in addition with the finasteride and estradiol that is

Was thinking of adding bicalumtide. What dose you think I should hould start at?
50mg
what is it mean half life, for exalmple, dutastride?
duts half life is about 5weeks

so if you stop taking it then 5 weeks later half will be gone... supposedly
Hey bridgeburn do u think i would benefit from using estrogel a few times a week on the scalp to encourage regrowth?
maybe, give it a try. it won't hurt

[QUOTE = "bridgeburn, post: 1717945, member: 130663"] Estoy celoso, jajajajaja,

@bridgeburn Do you know of anything that can increase the Aromatase Enzyme? (CYP19)

I can't afford nor can I even have access to Estrogen, which sucks; Does anyone know how to increase Aromatase? because from the extensive reasearch I'm in the midst of, it seems that almost everything out there is an Aromatase Inhibitor, hell even Soy Isoflavones and Linseed Lignans are proven to be Aromatase Inhibitiors, and Estrogen Receptor Down-regulators...

Does anyone know how to increase Aromatase Enzyme, and subsecquently Estrogen, prefereably without the involvement of prescription drugs, because where I am, I can't justify wanting a female hormone, as a man....

Thanks

*dexamethasone- but this is drug, (topical glucocorticosteriod)

*alcohol

*body fat (inject fat in scalp?)

*avoid what inhibits it

*estrogen itself increases aromatase in female frontal follicles, I couldn't find any studies done on men telling if it increases follicle aromatase or not

That's all I know

This makes for a good read although quite long https://academic.oup.com/edrv/article/27/6/677/2355194

this is awesome, its like all the official E research on hair all together in one!

hell yeah I love what estradiol does for skin! :
Screenshot_20181001-002044.jpg

hhaha, it decreases Pgd2 too

"whereas E2 enhanced the metabolism of prostaglandin D2 to Δ12-prostaglandin J2, a natural PPARγ ligand."

always thought maybe it did but never read it anywhere.

Lol:

"Due to unwanted side effects like gynecomastia, E2 should not be used in men because very high topical doses seem to be required to obtain measurable hair growth effects (84),"

yes its a very long paper

Yeah crazy long it also states somewhere in there that between 2-8mg of estrogen resulted in full reversal of androgenic alopecia in most cases.

I think if you're on anti androgen's you can likely do it with a smaller dose of E.

Bridge how long were you on cypro for - did you interval it during this time, like 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off?

Geez I wish there was a for dunnies version of these abstracts. Anywho this is my takeaway from it:

"The same group found that in cultured human, nonbalding scalp dermal papilla cells, the two ERs exhibited different expression patterns, ERβ showing strong nuclear expression, and ERα granular cytoplasmic expression (24). This different distribution may contribute to a variable E2 responsiveness (254)."

More E receptors = better chance of not going bald?

"ERs are more widely expressed, and importantly, ERβ is strongly expressed in the bulge region of the outer root sheath. This region contains stem cells for hair follicle keratinocytes that regenerate the follicle during the anagen phase. This suggests that these epithelial stem cells are targets for estrogen action."

So the more E = the better chance that hair will grow? Especially if you have more E receptors?

"in anagen VI follicles microdissected from frontotemporal skin, there was a remarkable distribution difference between male and female hair follicles from frontotemporal scalp skin: ERβ immunoreactivity was found in male scalp hair follicles predominantly in the matrix keratinocytes, whereas in female hair follicles, ERβ immunoreactivity was predominantly found in the dermal papilla fibroblasts (10)."

Does this mean men actually have great potential to grow hair on the hairline if they only produced more damn estrogen??

"However, these findings in mice contrast with long-standing clinical experience in the topical application of E2 to the human scalp. For human scalp hair, topical E2 has long been used in the management of telogen effluvium and androgenetic alopecia, especially in women (29, 58, 275). Although this remains to be unequivocally demonstrated in vivo, E2 has been proposed to decrease the telogen rate and to prolong the anagen phase in human scalp skin, justifying the use of topical E2 in the management of hair loss characterized premature catagen entry, such as androgenetic alopecia and telogen effluvium (29, 30, 88, 275–277).

So any baldness cures done on mice with success likely don't hold any weight with human hair since the genes are too different?

Cripes this stuff is complicated, no wonder it's been thousands of years and the cure has not been found.

100% i think the hairline will grow back with more estrogen but how do we do that without the sides. I think in a ideal world their would be a drug for people who have Androgenetic Alopecia where it would set their hormones back to where they was before puberty but without the bad sides i mean when i was at school i remember having something my mum used to call puppy fat I was never fat as such just seemed to accumulate more fat on my chest, thighs, waist etc. Im guessing this was because i had more estrogen and less testosterone. And if im honest i think most guys have this before they get that surge in test.

Actually now i think about it bridgeburn says that he no longer produces sperm anymore but u still hear about 13/14 year old boys getting girls pregnant. I actually think most people would get near to full regrowth on a lot lower dose than what he was taking. I think it would take longer but the sides wouldnt be as harsh. I mean ive looked at photos of my son and his hair was like most newborns when born wispy/ receeded looking it wasnt til the 10/12 month that it actually all fully grew in and thickend up. I mean if gyno ever really became a problem then u could take something till it went away. Its all about getting a fine balance with the hormones. Obviously a trade of would be a full head of hair for fat distrubution to the hips/chest /thighs and your face looking slightly more feminine. Looking at pictures when i was 13 my face had that more puffy younger look again what bridgey has goin on now.He has turned back the clock by adding back subcutaneous fat to the face. This is what we all slowly lose as we age due to high androgens taking its toll on the body.

I find that hard to believe, that most would get full, meaning total NW0 with 2-8mg. however, NW1 -2 is more likely, which our society tends to consider full for men.

Ya I think ratio between E and T is the key, and every body is different in this regard so you have to know yourself and experiment.

I'm also thinking that T plays a bigger part than DHT in the hairline and temples and why stuff like cypro and E might be more effective in treating.
Whereas min and finasteride have not been too effective here.
