why couldn't you quantify it?

you could just get everyone who doesnt know the people to rate before and after pics of hair loss. then average the numbers

its the closest thing to objective beauty there is, the average rating you wud get from unbiased people

Some people look better/worse in real life vs pics. Some people would actually go up if their hair before was a mess.

I have a phobia of that too. A friend used one on holiday, I said there could have been a guy on the other end, he got real scared. Also I am worried generally they may inject a HIV needle into me or something. I like to be in control and see what's happening It's also not a turn on putting it in a random hole in the wall, crap idea.

This is the problem, you can't quantify it. A very handsome guy who has some hair loss where it doesn't impact too much, is still going to beat a ugly/average looking guy with hair, although he won't beat very handsome with hair. I think it's the pretty boy types with feminine features, pale skinny etc that don't look good with less hair. I went on a date sat night and she invited me to her house on Sunday, she even joked about my hair on the date and I joked about it back, she's coming to mine this week and have another date this week. Despite this I am taking meds because hair is always going to add some points.

It's not a competition. Just because individual x has y thingss, might not make him mpre attractive to z individual. Just like how being rich doesn't make you a better person than someone whos poor.

Theres so many factors which come into play when it comes to attraction and having hair is a big thing but it's definitely not ****ing everything. If you are ugly to begin with yes itll be a problem in terms of physical attraction, but if you are ok looking goinf bald isnt goinf to be the end of your dating life. Im not a pessimist like fred who says everyone treats baldies differently. Ive noticed i have only picked up on guys who have lost hair now that im losing hair. Before that i just didnt notice thst kind of thing.

And yes some girls or guys might pick up on it but it wont be a big deal or wont usually be a deciding factor whether or not someone wants to be your friend or more. Personality is significantly more important in a longer term relationship.

Yeah youll lose points but **** it life is way too short to care about what other people think, make the most of the time you got on this earth, because every second you are alive is one second closer to your death.

It's not hard to know if you are attractive or not.


When your good looking women will openly tell you that you're handsome. Heavily flirt and make subtle hints that they are interested. More in tune and attentive towards what you say and are generally more receptive.

As for online dating. If women message you then chances are you're attractive and above average.

..hoping u strike up a conversation.

That's why I think gay guys may be more understanding of hair loss and shaving it off. Provided you look groomed, good looking enough e.t.c. Guys get each other. Then again attraction is innate and I know which guys I find good looking in a non sexual way, they have good hair. But simply getting laid as a bald guy should be a non issue still.

I do think some gay guys do want a long term relationship eventually and that is when being bald could be a deal breaker. However, I really think if the guy is well hung and has a really nice body and at least average looking he will do just fine even if he is bald or balding. Most gay guys are into well hung guys who have really nice bodies.

Joan, according to some women I have spoken to they said that is true as well but we are only talking about oral sex. I remember two guys that called themselves straight said the best they got was from a guy.

Like the Doctor said I was mainly talking about oral. Don't get me wrong some women are really great at it. But generally speaking, I reckon gay guys will be better. In the same way women are probably better at it with each other overall, yes. Many guys are crap at oral mainly because they don't enjoy it or think of what they are doing. I think passion and taking your time down there with women is critical, just exploring the whole body but at the right time. I enjoy it and the girls definitely have.

I think girls have it easier though in giving oral. In the sense they really can't do a bad job! If she looks at least average and is enthusiastic, that's going to end up "okay" at least. Especially since guys will always be turned on from a girl being down there.
