Technically baldness isn't a disease. Neither is alchololism. You can't catch either through some pathogen so. It's more of a disorder or less, a condition.

Anyone notice how it is fair game to make comments about someone being bald at work. I have been singled out for it many times at meetings. Imagine if I commented on someone's skin colour or a woman's breasts. I'd be fired, yet I am fair game for ridicule cause I am bald. What to do...

It's true, but try and mention it to someone and you will be ridiculed even more. I honestly thought about seeing a lawyer once to sue the people I worked for for discrimination - I just got tired of hearing it. Damn, people have sued for less and won. You can't even look at a woman any more without fear of a lawsuit.

When something like that will start, when comments about baldness will be officially non politicly correct like race for example, when people will get sued for this, when the media will stop laughing about that. Then believe me bald guys will be much less ridiculed, and people will judge you less. I came to the point when I just don't want to be near people who are so shallow. Don't care if it's the hottest chick.Or whatever. Believe me not all the woman's in the world are that shallow. I know a girl that look awesome and don't judge people by look. And also very nice to everyone

Because baldness is only superficial, it is not deemed serious enough to warrant any sympathy from the PC crowd. I suppose that makes it OK in these peoples eyes to get away with ridiculing bald guys. It only goes to show how full of sh*t those people who observe PC protocol really are because they still behave with prejudice. We really are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to public relations.
