I had a dream women are being brainwashed into detesting baldness...

Can't quote on phone.
I took your situation into account because I said
Full nw7 with it shaved down.
Wouldn't wear a wig.
By no means are you either or close to nw7 nor restricted to never wear a wig.
I made it a worst case scenario.

You are right, I'm not a NW7 or close to that as my hair loss is diffuse. And yes, I can wear a wig. I just hope I can meet someone who accepts that and doesn't dump me over hair loss like my ex did.

That's the hate I'm talking about. And they have to shove it in our faces.

That's right, we can't exercise our hair loss away. So women can have no excuse for being fat.

It's like they evilly giggle at the fact that it's out of our control.

There's a good few more spread out in the comments if you care to look - however, I think you get the drift.

If it's any cancellation women after 30 have to have on average 1 full hour a day and major dieting to even maintain low body fat and avoid weight gain. Far more work than a man. Add kids into that and I say "ha ha ha ha ha ha ha"

How would you even know that swingline?
Of course a persons metabolism slows as they age but it doesn't give any excuse to being fat.
It's all bull****, let's face it though you live in a country where the majority of people are fat. So what do you expect. That's why people can't even joke about fat people anymore, the lards they are. Not forgetting the fat acceptance movement lol.

It's just one of those things they say. Belief is questionable but I sure as hell love pointing it out ha ha

If anyone finds women like this desirable, come to Toronto, Canada. Just make sure you've got hair.

Haha...this one actually made me laugh!!! The hubris on this deluded girl. I'd be happy to pass on this one for her personality AND her looks.
I know, I know..very shallow, and I'm not male a model..... But to me she looks like she was constructed in some dudes garage. Some dude who has very bland and mainstream taste in female aesthetics.
I love pale, dark haired, "mysterious" type women. Not the kind that would make it on Home and Away (Aussie beachside drama where every one looks really healthy. So as to not scare the masses.)

BLAND, BLAND ****in' BLAND!!!!

Yeah, I do have my body and face going for me, but the hair loss really ruins it for me. So how am I going to expect a guy to be attracted to that?

It does not.

It certainly hurts, but it does not ruin.

You really don't know the power of a good body and face over men.

Look at that pretty smile!

Same woman, many years later, with hair.

Yeah, I do have my body and face going for me, but the hair loss really ruins it for me. So how am I going to expect a guy to be attracted to that? I guess I can glue a hair piece to my head so that my future boyfriend will never see my bald head, but in the end I'll always be worried that he'll leave me for a full headed girl.

I can only say what I think but there are some really nice wigs that make women beautiful if their hair is too thin. You may have seen some of them, but in Cher's concerts on youtube she wears various wigs and looks great in them. Guys are attracted to that, you can change your hair whenever you want. What her hair is under the wig doesn't matter. I think men look at wigs as enhancers, not something that detracts.

BTW if you have a nice body and face that is 95% of it. Everything in life is relative, it sounds like you haven't tried wearing a wig yet. Just try one out and go someplace no one knows you and see how everyone reacts, you might be surprised.

I love the new avatar that EvilLocks is using. Very cool. That lush red lipstick on a white face looks very arty.

Im still on the fence if that was it or just an excuse or something mean to say. How soon did he bounce back to someone else? I wouldnt put to much faith in the words of someones whos trying to dump you.

I don't think brainwashing is required. Baldness is ugly.

The only brainwashing I see is how men are being brainwashed to accept fat women.

You contradict yourself :)

While debating baldness versus fatness we must not forget one key difference. Baldness for most men is 'god given' while fatness is usually a self-made thing.
I would never have a dislike for the former, whether be it baldness or some other condition or disability. But I would have no problem if I dislike the latter whether be it fatness or wrecking your looks in other ways with your lifestyle or habits.

I get why that's your own personal acceptance of baldness and I'll agree, but at the end of the day ugliness is nobodies fault as much as baldness is, just the reality is, it doesn't look good. So maybe women would prefer baldness to fatness if they put some further thought into it, but it still won't make them naturally choose either.

EvilLocks, as I've said before, I have to agree with this. You're still not in a wig and look hot (as evidenced by the comments on your prior avatar). It would have been premature for your BF to break up with you solely based on your hair loss. You may not need a wig till your my age or even older. When I was 18, my BF (three years older) started freaking out because he had minor recession and swore he was going bald. I ran into him about four years ago, and he still had the same hairline. If I thought like your BF supposedly did--I better dump him because I don't want to date a bald guy--how foolish that would have been. Step out of the relationship and look at yourself through his eyes, your good and bad points, and maybe rethink things. Take a look at him too, EvilLocks, and ask yourself if maybe he did you a favor, if maybe down the road, had you not had hair loss, he would have found another excuse to leave. It took me years before I did that and realized that I played a bigger part in the failure of my first marriage than I originally thought.

But Sinead O'Connor was buzzed, not bald, although I do agree that she rocked it. WTF--she gives us middle-aged women a bad rap. Why did she let herself go like that?!!?

Not following.

Of course it is hard for me to process anything right now with my stomach churning at the sight of CaptainForehead’s Sinead photos. Worse, I clicked the link. Then people have to quote it. Women look bad bald but Sinead is filth regardless.

Below is the best I can find to counter that hideousness. Gorgeous eyes and a wide smile. Happiness can be contagious which helps in her situation. I wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole though being that she writes for the Huffington Post.

My mother's sisters are thinning badly. I should probably tell them to “just shave it girlâ€￾. My mom still has her hair and told me she thanks God every night that she doesn't have that problem. Yeah, let's not pray for a cure to end people's suffering. Rather let's just be thankful we aren't ****ed too.
