I had a dream women are being brainwashed into detesting baldness...

Nice, same here (more or less, but I do it professionally as well). What's your camera gear?

Cool :) I have sold some pictures in the past, but nothing to brag about really. I do wish I could work as a photographer though. I have a Canon EOS 450D, really old camera (had it since I was like 15), so I'm thinking of upgrading my camera.

I've never sold any of mine, but I have given out large prints of mine to friends and charity, I've got some extremely large panorama shots I took in Santorini, Greece (15-30 photos stitched together). I've been thinking about selling photos on iStock but I've heard you need a large portfolio for that.

I'm shooting on a Canon 70D with a 24-105mm F4L IS, 70-200 F4L IS and a Tokina 11-16 F/2.8 with a bunch of studio equipment... haven't used it much lately though...

But Sinead O'Connor was buzzed, not bald, although I do agree that she rocked it. WTF--she gives us middle-aged women a bad rap. Why did she let herself go like that?!!?

For women, is there a big difference between almost-shaved-buzzed and bald? And anyway, would Evillocks not have the same buzzed option?

Unfortunately it's a sad fact that most women let themselves go. In addition, if a woman cuts her hair without a good reason, the chances of her letting herself go approach 100%.

Thank you :) I've taken it myself.

Do you look like Taylor Swift?

Also, you should be aware that there almost certainly are guys on this forum who are imagining certain activities with those red lips.

I think so. You guys point out the difference between a bald head versus a buzzed head in men. Either way, women wouldn't look good but would look worse shiny bald.

My hair would be longer if it weren't thinning. The more it thins, the more I fixate on not letting the rest of me go.

Lol, I think I look nothing like Taylor Swift. I don't know any celebs I look like really, but maybe Joan can answer that?

One of the only "advantages" of hair loss: you're out of jokers, you can't let yourself go in other areas anymore.

In theory yes, but personally I think it's easier to let yourself go if you're suffering from hair loss, because it feels like the effort doesn't even matter anymore, since you're going to look like crap with the thin hair anyway. Thankfully I don't have to work out to stay thin, but I don't feel like putting on makeup anymore or dress cute, since I feel like the effort is wasted due to my hair loss.

I really had to search to find a celebrity you resembled. Either she had your eyes, face shape, etc., but this is the closest I could find to someone who bears some resemblance to you (in your color photo):

Of course, she doesn't have your steely blue eyes. And Taylor Swift can't hold a candle to you. You're a very pretty girl, EvilLocks--prettier than Zoey Deutch. :)

She is pretty, but I must admit I can't see the resemblance. Maybe it's easier for someone on the outside to see :) Anyway thank you, Joan.

A blue eyed sister with hair loss? I don't otherwise have much sympathy for women but that is unfortunate. It is bad enough our numbers are dwindling, but to not even live a quality life on the way down is depressing. Sincere condolences on the loss.

Just remember skin sags and hair thins, but blue eyes still remain blue (no white knighting, just fact). Unless maybe you get bad cataracts or lose and eye. Even the sister I linked to earlier with the shaved head is still relatively pretty (likely just a nut job).

If you ever posted a photo, I have no doubt you'd receive TONS of compliments! I will try to find a better picture. Has anyone ever told you that you looked like anyone famous?

I won't post a photo, that is for sure :) Hmm, I don't think anyone has told me I look like a certain celebrity really. I just look like, myself? lol

She posted a BA, too bad you missed it, all gone now.

Maybe if you guys are lucky, she'll update her avatar with a little bit of herself every now and then.

Maybe some day, some of the senior members from this forum will have a meet and greet somewhere in the world and finally get to interact in person.
