I Had An Epiphany. Confidence Does Matter, A Lot!

i have never met a 5 girl who only dates 6'+ but I'm a girl that loves a guy a foot taller but I wouldn't limit myself. Still I wouldn't go for guys under average height. Believe me I've tried. I'm just not attracted to them. And limiting myself to guys of average height really isn't limiting my dating pool. In fact I got hit on by tall guys more. Tall guys love short girls too so it's really not just the girls who're making things imbalanced here (I.e. Taking all the tall guys and leave no one to the tall girls).

A friend of mine told me her last three boyfriends were 6'4, 6'4, and 5'9.

She said the 5'9 guy was her trying to not be shallow and to have a relationship based on personality, it didn't work.

It doesn't work like that. Women often have these kind of lists only to throw them out as soon as they meet an attractive guy. I think we men suffer from it to some extent to. I prefer blondes but two of the top three most beautiful women I have personally known have been brunettes. I don't like women shorter than 5'4 but last year I was attracted to a women who is 5'3. But she had a face of an angel and we had great chemistry.

Nah I know I shouldn't complain and I can still get looks matched girls. Just always been a thing for me as all my younger brothers are 6'+ (tallest 6'3). And it really does make it tougher. But I have short mates who do ok so I've never used it as an excuse.

Well fair enough explanation but for me, personally, if I felt I couldn't be attracted to a girl because she's 3 or 4 inches shorter than what I like, I'd be concerned about that.

No I agree, 5'0 is the end of the line for a reason, it is indeed stretching it. My ideal is 5'4, I'm just saying that if I find someone hot and like her as a person, the neck problems and squatting doggy stand up positions (or from the front, missionary can easily be a pick her up scenario) are worth it. 5'0 is stretching it but I still won't be put off if the other boxes are ticked.

Pas is laughing at that stand up sex thing, but it's actually something worth considering if I'm ever with a short girl, it does cross my mind with regards to stand up sex.

Yeah 5'9 is around a cut off of being in the normal range.

If a guy is 5'5 or 5'6 then you give them leeway to moan but at 5'9 a lot of women wont care (because not that many women are over 5'9).

Depends on how attractive the girls face is. Nicole Kidman is around 5'11 and I find her super attractive. I don't really mind tall girls. Although my preferred height range is 5'4 to 5'8.

Can we please stop rehearsing the same worn-out faux-debates about height, frame etc?! I swear its like groundhog day every other week on this forum. Height matters, but its nowhere near as important as face (which includes hair) and a halfway decent body. It's only gonna become a serious problem if you're something like 5"2. @KJ your shorter than average stature is far from ideal, but ffs don't go tearing yourself to shreds about it. You've had plenty of success with the girls in the past and by the sounds of it you're a good-looking, fit, handsome (whatever adjective you prefer) young guy. Focus on keeping your hair game on point and stop worrying.

This. Guys, just stop worrying about your height unless you are extremely short. Don't create these insecurities and make yourself miserable. Just approach women, they like you, fine, otherwise approach another.
