@Stupidon

Definitely a frightening read.

We know that the blood and skin continuously produces new 5AR2. Does the spinal chord not do so, such that permanent destruction of the enzyme really sucks?

This is the thread on propeciahelp forums discussing water fasting as a cure:
http://propeciahelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6142&sid=b0c33aea0b7a400da4f16f1bc1517526
That's the one I read, there are probably others as well. Lots of great responses.

Finasteride causes sleep problems for me too. In the sense that I wake up like a zombie in the morning (no matter how long or when I go to sleep) and routinely sleep 1 - 1.5h longer than I normally would.
I felt like a zombie before starting finasteride and I feel like a zombie after using finasteride ( I use topically tho, and I feel sides compared to how i felt before going on finasteride).

I feel like sh*t because im balding my scalp itches and I feel like staying on bed to not look at my difusing hairline the next morning.

swiss temples had this kind of growth. What ever became of it? I am so happy you seem to be succeeding, and I am not here to sh*t on any one's parade, especially because NOTHING works for me... but, what's the point if all you get are tiny scattered hairs?

Even if those new hairs don't go terminal, at least he will have them when a treatment comes along that can make them go terminal. If he just let it stay slick bald until then he might be out of luck.

My guess is the pge2 and dermarolling are what deserve the credit for his success.

The vellus hairs are getting thicker my the day. High dose PGE2 is like minoxidil on crack without the negative side effects (bloated face, dark circles, aged skin, hirtuism etc)

Everyone on ******** is on < 0.5mg PGE2. Im doing 5-10mg per day for the last 4 weeks which is 52x the dose and im getting very noticeable growth.

Posting my 12 week pics next Thursday. So far its working better than i expected.

Did you earn the lottery? 5-10mg is serious money.

Have you thought of buying a Derminator? Compared to PGE2 it's cheap, and I think it would be a great add-on to your current treatment.

If your vellus hair is exactly growing where you have dermastamped, I think this could be useful for you. I am using a Derminator myself with a 9-needle insert on fast 1.5mm.

1.5mm dermastamp is working fine for now. Not sure how long I can sustain 5-10mg PGE2 per day. But i wanted to prove that a cure is possible if cost is not an issue for any future members that plan on doing the protocol.

if 100mcg/ml of PGE2 provides moderate growth for Swiss and other ******** members, and 750mcg-1mg/ml that im using provides extreme growth than its better that the community knows about this potential breakthrough fact.

Guys what is PEG2 ? I know RU, finasteride, minoxidil, S5 (spironolactone), because I use them all. I also know Seti, which I wanna add to my regime. I would love to add CB, but at current prices I am not willing to go for it.
Also do you think that by adding Seti into the mix (say a 5% concentration in alcohol vehicle) would yield any results ?

I wanted to know this too, and also what exactly is PGD2. Please explain someone in detail what are those and what's their function. Thanks

Prostaglandins are a class of molecules in the body.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prostaglandin

They correlate with baldness, and it is hypothesized by Professor George Cotsarelis and others such as swisstemples that they are the cause of baldness, a downstream effect of DHT inhibition. Some of the most informed posters on this forum such as @Swoop have argued that this hypothesis is bunk, "correlation does not prove causation" as the old adage goes.

In this scenario, PGE2 helps hair growth, and PGD2 inhibits hair growth. Maybe the other prostaglandins play a role as well, I forget.

Note that minoxidil is also speculated to be linked to PGE1, as in it accelerates PGE1, I'm not sure how strong that link is. DGLA, a precursor of PGE1, is one of three ingredients in Dr. Brotzu's formulation for alopecia. PGE1 is also a primary treatment for erectile dyfunction.

@David_MPN interesting study. I hope they find more information about it, it seems like they see only a blurry shape in a fog for now. Hope they invest more in the research and possible treatment once for all for this kind of desease.

@westonci So how much does it actually cost you per month? :)

I literally joined the forum for this thread. I'll be watching it as I am very interested. The growth and overall texture is unmistakable and apparent. Looks like a completely new hair profile. This is the first I've heard of this "Swiss Temple" thing and will be researching it more. Thank You

This is not comparable. First two photos light is shining directly on his head.In the third one light is behind his head making his hair look darker. Need better photos.

Good News

I can say with absolute certainty, that the PG protocol at this point in time will help you mantain/stop shedding and strengthen thinning hairs so in that sense its a side effect free alternative to finasteride.

With regards to growing hairs in bald spots, I see lots of vellus hair growing in those spots. Hard to see from far away. Time will tell what happens with those hairs.

Bad News

Canadian Customs just seized my shipment of PGE2, and Im almost done my current batch. Im living paycheck to paycheck, so Im kind of fucked, and I dont know how much longer i can do this protocol without some sort of community support (i.e. a gofund me campaign or something). I basically just lost $260 USD + $40 USD shipping, which is almost $400 Canadian.
