Can you guys just promise me we'll definitely get to the bottom of this lotion's efficacy - one way or another - even should antyhing go wrong with the official product?

I can't bear the thought of losing a potentially life-saving treatment to bad business decisions or some foul play and certainly don't intend to spend the rest of my "life" wondering whether there was a chance.

Where is the guy getting the s equol from? If we had that alone and a vehicle it should in theory lower DHT and do something. At least then you could test whether s equol actually works or not. The problem is no one really sells it

Nothing is certain. Look back at threads from ten years ago, and you will see that we still haven't gotten definitive answers on any of the things that they were trialing then. They could always end up canning the trial for some reason, and people will try to formulate the lotion themselves with no success. Every couple years people get interested in S Equol, and then interest fades until the cycle begins again a couple years later.

It isn't about the s-equol its about the s-equol + the other ingredients in the lotion.

there is an other guy in the italian forum called 'spatolatorefolle 'which will make the lotion from a professional laboratory based on the research of Dr. brotzu.

Wow.
I've looked at his blog post and used google translate.
Can you or anyone confirm this will be based exactly on Brotzu's lotion?

It isn't about the s-equol its about the s-equol + the other ingredients in the lotion.
All of which have been talked about for years on the forums, and will continue to be talked about for years if this lotion isn't released or doesn't work.

It's not impossible to purchase equol.

I also see it on sale at my local health food store.

Official message by Fidia farmaceutici S.p.A.:

Fidia just began a clinical trial, with a defined protocol, focusing on a specific formulation suitable for industrial scaling-up.

Regretfully, we are not able to figure out in advance the formulation’s effectiveness and tolerability, that shall be demonstrated during the trial, with statistical significance and clinical relevance.

The trial panel has already been defined and we cannot further improve the number of patients included.

Neither exact launch plans nor time-to-market priorities have been defined for the product yet.

I don't know if you guys realize, but this is just a form letter designed by lawyers.

Fidia needs to protect legal liability.

Whatever results are achieved in the trial, that's what they're going to suggest on the packaging, nothing else.

If the trial is 6 months long, there will be no guarantee of being above baseline after 7 months.

you can take a look at his blog writting in italy: http://rivoluzionecapelli.blogspot.it/

he is updating his blog frequently. he had a meeting with this laboratory by 18 june. and his trying to make this lotion legal something like patent.

the last post in his blog was the 29 june and he said that the laboratory/doctor called him and told him that the next week the necessasary component for the lotion will arrive.

he says that soon he's going to write an article in English, with this informations.

Great find, tzt!

If Fidia doesn't succeed, this could be an alternative.

does somebody knows when did the trials had begun?

because this topic started at february, and the trials are 6 monts, it suppose to end just in a few months from now, maybe 2 max 3, if i understand it correctly.

and if so, aren't FIDIA supose the publish some information about their progress? at least for their investors?

I'm still wondering what was his initial solution that convinced him prostaglandin E is actually useful

legend has it he used a prostaglandin cream on a resident's head and found out it had regrowth, did he just smacked some Alprostadil on some guy's shiny head in hope it will do something?

I think Fidia confirmed their trials started in March, but I still haven't seen any concrete confirmation that their trials will last six months, in fact pretty sure I read Fidia have said they don't yet know how long exactly their trials will last, they are seeing what happens.

My hope is that someone else will make the lotion before then, if the lotion works I will use it up until Fidia releases their official one.

They didnt start until mid May, and your right, they never actually stated when trials would be finished. Brotzu however believed it should come out in early 2017, but Id take it with a grain of salt. I feel like he may be a little out of the loop with Fidia. I think replicating the lotion is by far the best idea. The Italians are working hard on getting a lab to formulate the lotion. Hopefully it pans out and we can buy overseas from them.

Question: where and how would we even get this? Would they try to manufacture this in the US?
