One thing we'll learn from this new treatment is if blocking DHT or blocking 5AR is the cause of side effects. People who get side effects on finasteride will take equol and report what's different.

it's really not the exact Brotzu lotion, they just throw everything they found in the patent and then hope it sticks

Just reading about the possibility of a working treatment makes my sex drive go through the roof.
Although it's probably just normal levels of sex drive that I've not felt in years -- it's insane what baldness does to your sexuality.
God, I'll probably snap if nothing comes of this as there's literally nothig else to give me hope.

Not going to lie I am more optimistic about this than anything else on this entire board other than Tisiju and Shiseido in Japan.
Im still 50/50 on Histogen as they are willingly working with Dr. Con Artist Ziering. Even if it works, just like with Transplants; Brutzos Lotion will still be required to stop the DHT onslaught from hitting the follicles.
Everything else works marginally better than current options with similar or worse side effects. Admin over at HL2020 was excited that Jak Inhibitors only possible side effects were Sexual Dysfunction and inability to detect certain Tumours smh.
I always had a feeling just like most solutions for most things, that we would come across the solution for Androgenetic Alopecia via accident.
If this actually works with the theorized side effects of Sexual Priapism then I will be convinced God really does exist lmao!
Im only a Norwood .5-1ish slight thinning over the past 3 years after damaging my thyroid after going into extreme ketosis for too long. Thyroid is now good but if I do not take some natural hair supplements I notice my hair starts to shed way faster than usual.
I hope this comes out ASAP so I do not even have to worry about traveling down this road in any significant manner what so ever.

IMO, at first I thought it was all an angle illusion, however if you zoom right in on the first pic you can literally see the pores on the top of the head with no hair.
Second picture shows hair.
My dad who is 65 got this stuff from India (lol) that was being sold in a market as a hair regrowth promotor about 2 years ago.
It said to apply twice a day for 30 minutes. This fool wore it for 3 hours at a time and even went to bed with it on haha.
After 5 months he had similar regrowth to this guy. But my dad is happily married and more concerned about enjoying the latter part of his life than getting laid lmao. Plus lucky guy has small nose and ears and a good shaped skull. Me on the other hand..... Im good to go with my hair; without it. FML. Thanks Mom.

Yes indeed you can see the empty pores in the first pic and tonnes of vellus hairs in the third pic. Also the guy said that the first pic was taken at 10 days so he actually had even less hair to start.

Believe me when I say I hope this works really well, and can be some kind of alternative to finasteride which is pretty much needed. Bonus points for getting it done 5 years ahead of say CB which seems a bit ridiculous the enormous time differences.
That being said I will believe it when I see the results. I still really question the efficiency of s-equol because if you dont stop DHT or androgens your fighting a losing battle because no other angle can counteract that critical one IMO.
If it works it will be safer because a) its topical probably less systemic absorbtion b) lowering DHT IMO could cause sexual sides still, but finasteride inhibits the 5-ar 3 enzyme that no one knew about which is involved with neurosteroids. Not inhibiting that should prevent brain fog and all that stuff a big plus if s-equol can do it. S-equol is going to need to be in high amounts and very potent, and strongly antagonize DHT for this to work.
If you lower DHT systemically your going to get sides probably sexual ones but who knows. There are no free lunches when you dramatically alter natural processes you dont understand well.

I did, my impression is that oral s-equol digestion has poor absorption, I believe a lot of it ends up in the toilet, I don't remember where i learned that.

I have no idea.
Oral might help with other useful things, like preventing breast and prostate cancer, that s-equol is alleged to do.
