Both verbally and physically. At least that's how it is for me. I have low self confidence so I need to be reassured by a partner that I am good enogh; he needs to both show it and say it. A bit sad, shouldn't have to be that way, but it is what it is...
Nah a lot of baldies who are rekt by hair loss and self esteem feel this way. Its nothing out of the ordinary.

I get mild fatigue from time to time but nothing that prevents me from doing things. Fatigue does not accompany my bouts of anxiety. I take lorazepam (Ativan) when they're especially bad or if I'm having trouble sleeping. I've taken antidepressants in the past, but I can't say they helped much. Plus, I hate taking medications every day. Hypochondria overwhelms me at times and has for years. I prefer taking benzos when needed; they never fail me.

I think EL mentioned she suffers from CFS. I'm sorry for both of you. I can't imagine having to summon strength to push myself through my days. Are some days worse for you than others, I.D?

CFS - Yes that's it Joan.
I'm sorry for EL's own issues with this tormenting malady and relieved that it's one less cumbersome hurdle you don't have to deal with.
When I think of her in this context, I cannot help feel sad and begin to imagine her like one might think about a miniature house rose
sadly wilting in a dimly lit corner of her clueless and neglectful caregiver's home, left alone silently pleading for a meager drop of mercy,
all the while trying her best to fend against her unfair circumstances.

To your latter question Joan I will tell you most of my days dealing with fatigue vacillate from bad to worse
so I'm sure you can appreciate how every other personal adversity is intensified twofold by it's oppressive ball and chain effect.

Yes I do, unfortunately. It's horrible, and even though I suffer from a relatively mild form of CFS it affects me every day. I can just forget working out, it will just make me sick for days to weeks after. I have to save my energy for where I need it the most, and I'm always tired and my muscles aching. It sucks.

Have you made any progress in the past few months? You had told me you were going to eat more fruits/vegetables.

Nameless can finally form his band!

Then we'll have to name ourselves AA Anonymous or maybe Triple Follicular Threat?
It'll be a big jam band of baldites with tons of collaborating musicians
and back up singers straight from the files of HairLossTalk.com.

Thinking about Nameless now, I'm guessing our 'speedy, on the run' amigo is doing what he set out to do,
defying the odds against him or what some of us here might rule as impossible enterprises;
concurrently breaking hearts and music sale records and resting in between
his ambitious quest for the fountain of youth.:)

I'm sorry for your troubles, EL. It must be terrible never to feel energetic and to have to push yourself to do little things daily that most of us take for granted. You don't need to work out anyway. Your avatars speak for themselves. :)

I am going to leave this here. My shake every morning consists of this. It's one scoop raw meal greens

I don't have CFS, but I struggle with energy myself. I feel for you guys. THIS gives me solid, sustained energy, helps with my metabolism, makes my skin look amazing and helps with digestive function. It is all derived from organic sprout blends. (no I am not trying to sell anything)

@David_MPN - what do you think about this?

Buck,
With healthy diet including maintenance supplementation,
I think I have the nutritional aspect cover, but no kidding,
my exercise profile really needs a make-over.
I'm seriously considering adding a comprehensive amino acid plan per
your share. Thanx buddy.

My personal opinion on exercise is that HIIT (high intensity interval training) is the way to go... for me, at least. When I was doing this, I felt absolutely amazing. I lost weight, gained muscle, slept well, along with a million other little benefits. This and sustained cardio, like biking, swimming, etc., I believe are very good for the body.

The amino acid profile for Raw Meal is more than adequate, but the best part is that it ALL comes from organic sprouts. I believe this is best because the amino acids and nutrients are readily absorbed in the GI tract. Good luck buddy!

My $0.02:

HIIT, heavy resistance training, and yoga, probably the best three choices.

Massage therapy is a great complement, albeit expensive.

yes, I forgot to mention Yoga. One of the best exercises for your body and mind. Vinyasa flow alone will make you realize muscles and joints you never thought were there. :D

@David_MPN - still waiting for your opinion of rawmeal!! I'm very needy right now David! talk to meeee!!

It looks good. A lot of good ingredients and amino acids.

I did a "powdered greens" thing a few months back. Probably good for me. But it tasted like sh*t and I was resenting taking so many supplements orally, on my hair, and on my skin.

To the op, its both. Hell in the living moment. Purgatory in waiting for a promise to be fulfilled that may never come, all the while the years of your life slip away.
