You should have the right to say whatever you like about anyone else experiences. Even someone colossally different to you. This doesn't mean you actually know what you're talking about, and it certainly doesn't mean that other people shouldn't call you out when they think you don't know what you're talking about.

But the fact that this might be hurtful to Dante seems slightly ridiculous to me. It's the internet, you're going to read things you don't like. It's nice to be nice, but as I said if it gets in the way of a logical conversation then I'd ask the 'hurt' people to remove themselves from the conversation rather than the conversation to be shut down.

I will agree with David that it's likely you have little idea what it's like, even I, as a balding average male, don't think I can imagine Dante's struggles.

I never questioned Dantes life experience as whole i do question his experience in that story based on his pics.

That said, his hair looks pretty good in that picture, I do see some thinning but not anything extreme.
His hair loss might have progressed since that picture was taken, though.

This Dante situation, but also there were incidents with @Baldhurts and @WhitePolarBear (on another forum I think).

It should be completely against the rules to troll somebody's photos, resulting in automatic deletion and warning from moderators.

He wasn't an incel at all, he had plenty of sex. And without a doubt in a completely different situation to Dante.

I think regardless of whether Dante is exaggerating his ugliness or not he still has it very hard. So maybe he's not incel material, but I empathize with Dante, I couldn't really with BH as his situation is just so drastically different. Dante is the same height as me and at best as good looking as me. Going NW3+ would destroy me without a transplant as an option.

There is far more justification for Dante to have BDD than BH. It would almost be surprising if he didn't. When girls show you zero interest it's very hard not to be really down on yourself. But it's harmful to be so self negative, even if it is completely justified.
