That's actually a good idea. Making an app where guys only sign up put up their pictures write their little profile, and girls just pick and chose. Then the guys get the matches of whoever has "swiped them right".

When I was just trying to lose my virginity and was matching fat girls I'd find many who would complain that all guys wanted is sex and wonder how they couldn't find a guy that wanted something serious. All I wanted to say was "go for fat guys if that's what you want".

They were to thick to realize that the guys they matched with were out of their league and only wanted an easy f***.

I kind of feel bad for being one of those guys that boost their egos. Although at the time I was to inexperienced, it was either that or stay a virgin.

I just joined Match, tinder and pof this weekend just to 'see' out of curiosity from what you guys post here.
(I'm on fence about when to start actually dating due to my hair issues/progress.)

I suggest maybe men try Match on a free-trial' at least. because i had a horrible experience on Match, its awful. At least for women I would suspect. (I think these apps if bad for one gender, probably better for opposite?)

POF and Tinder--it's so many its almost over whelming and i can see women especially women in most of your guys age bracket--just being overwhelmed with responses to the point the matches start to 'meld' and people have to really stand out. I was overwhelmed by the number and I am 45.

I used to be on OK cupid and did well three. Im not sure if i will bother with that again.

Tinder is by far the best.

With pof you can end up messaging people who do not find you attractive. At least on tinder you know if you match you both like each others looks. So in that way you know if you do not chat then its because the conversation wasn't so great.

I might try match in a couple months, but I assume it's just dead.

I cannot tell you how many people it matched me with or gave me option to swipe on who work in my industry.

i would say a good 30% were all my industry people at various levels some more white collar and some more blue collar--some creative some technical--but all my industry, then also a lot of music industry types and a lot of photographers, working artists, architects and then a lot of finance guys (which its NY so that just huge dating pool anyways) and advertising guys.

I got some firefighters too for some reason lol which is cool one i liked because he had a pic of him giving oxygen mask to an unconscious dog. ...i mean even my ovary twitched at that one. Hot firefighter helping an unconscious dog? hello.
