I rarely wear T shirts apart from when I play tennis, hike, kayak, being active in general. I don't normally wear cardigans. I don't like them.

Business casual is the best for men. Nothing sexier than a man in a tailored British suit.

What's your idea of super hot guys? Forget about models and hollywood.

That's a shame you can't do some training now. Maybe in the future? Are you quite short? If so, I think muscles are a must. Also, braces. I think you need them. Will make your smile a lot more attractive. Just my opinion.

I hope to get back to weightlifting by the end of 2016, also plan on getting braces in the coming months, probably ceramic ones. You may have a misconception about muscles though. It takes 6-12 months for there to be any aesthetic impact.

By business casual I mean dress pants, a dress shirt, and a sweater on top, not "a suit". I'm not an investment banker nor a lawyer, I cannot wear a suit on a regular basis.

I'm 5'11. I might lie on my profile and say 6 feet.

When I was wearing a tshirt in that pic I was hiking / being active. It was a day trip through the Daintree rainforest which involved a lot of time on rocks, water, grass, etc ...

Don't gey me wrong. Being geeky isn't bad. If I am honest, I even had a minor crush on my geeky tutor.

Sounds good. Hope everything works out for you!
I understand what business casual means, was just expressing my affection towards men in suits. lol
You are tall. Forget about muscles then. Dad bod is equally attractive.

haha I know he's not geeky (or is he?). But imagine the man in second pic is in fact a geek? Yum.

I am not defending samantha in anyway but David are you forgetting how old she is? She is still at that age where "looks matter alot". As you get older, looks will fade and eventually if you are able to keep in shape and take good care of yourself, things will start to even out as those who were hot when they were younger may not be so hot when they get older. However, if they have a career that demands good looks like professional entertainers, they may go to all extremes to keep maintaining their good looks as long as they can. I admit having a full head of hair will always help you look younger and sexier but you better maintain a great body to go with it. And I am not talking about a perfect body builder physique. Just stay fit enough to look good in your clothes.

I think you got that Jerry Seinfeld look going on and "there is nothing wrong with that" as you are jewish and you have similar features. I don't think you need to "defend" yourself with samantha (her calling you geeky looking) as her opinion is going to be influenced by most of the people around her age. Her values will definitely change each decade as she experiences the "ups and downs" of dating and society in general. So will yours. My values have changed but my struggle with low self-esteem still haunts me from time to time but when I get praise it helps reassure me I created too many false limiting beliefs about myself.

You are still very young and you will definitely find yourself a nice woman, possibly a jewish one if you want, who will love you for your intelligence and your determination to always keep yourself looking as good as you possibly can. Most women find guys who groom and take care of themselves very attractive. I am sure you probably have a great sense of humor too and that is a plus in some girls eye's.

@DoctorHouse Youre absolutely right.
My opinion is also heavily influenced by men in my field, my ex, and my university crush (Both are in my field tho).

Sounds like we have got someone we can ask for grooming tips and a woman's perspective on what looks good on us. Nice addition to the community :)

I'm so confused by the 'you need braces' comment. I can hardly see his teeth in those photos so unless you've seen something that I haven't.

David..I think you look decent and shouldn't have any hang ups...in my opinion (and it is just that), the number one thing that will improve your 'look' is increasing muscle mass slightly and lose a bit of fat. (Aka...toning up). You seem to have pretty wide shoulders naturally so that's a good start. You can't train much at the moment so just focus on eating clean and doing light exercise... Then smash the gym/fitness when you are fit again. Maybe grow out some stubble and keep the hair short if you can't hang on to it in future. Then wear clothes that are fitted and show off your physique. When you can, do high intensity type training....sprints and boxing for cardio ...weights and calisthenics for resistance training..loads of pull ups.. Trust me on that. Also, i'm not too convinced on intermittent fasting...may work for a lot of people...but athletes train regularly and to do so they need to eat regularly. Eat whole grains for carbs...eat fish for protein...oily fish. Plenty of veg. Know when to eat the right things.

He has a narrow smile. Can tell in his first pic. Maybe I'm mistaken.

I don't really see what you mean and I think a smile can change depending on the pose.. Take 3 photos and each can look different. And i'm no expert but i don't understand how braces can change a 'narrow' smile. I had braces as a teenager but that straightened my teeth ..it didn't change my jaw structure or mouth shape...maybe i'm not understanding what you mean on this. But i don't think he needs braces.

JD,

I'm pretty sure Samantha is an American.

They have much higher standards for teeth over there.

And that's where I'm moving.

David, I will differentiate between affect of color/ethnicity in success of relationships vs affect of color in driving attraction. One reason why most people choose spouse within their ethnicity is because most people simply know more people of their ethnicity/skin color. I know many brown guys who are married to brown women but they are more attracted to white skin. However, they settled with brown women for reasons such as accessibility, compatibility, cultural similarity, similar thought process and belief system, etc. However, data released by a dating app indicated that if you are a Caucasian male, your chance of getting positive response from women(Caucasian and Asian) goes up substantially. I didn't look at the data in enough detail to comment on it's quality though.
It's due to social class. Within our society, Caucasians are the pinnacle of socioeconomic class, then south asians and east asians, then middle easterners and arabs, and at the bottom you have Blacks (sorry). That's how society is built so that is how we view things via indoctrination.

And even among whites, Swedes look better than Spaniards, and among Blacks, west Africans look better than east Africans. Perceptions of social class influence sexual preference in adulthood.

"Looks matter a lot" to all women of breeding age.

32 is not "very young".

Thanks.

By the way, saturated fat is no longer considered bad for you. Eat fish, and eat beef too. Eat butter, and coconut oil.

Women don't mind geeks, as long as the geek is handsome.
I think a lot of women want alpha males.
