The dude is not ugly but if somebody had told me to bet on him, I would have worried about my money. Last year there was a girl in my school who looked very similar to her, she even had a smaller nose, and people told me she liked me. I was too neckbeard to recognize and believe that.

She's not my type either,but i can't neglect the fact that she's a 8-9(look at her other videos).
When i was younger and had hair, i could afford rejecting a girl like her, but not anymore.
It's not all about the looks,i aggree...But we must be naive to believe that they don't play a major role in mating.

Do these men have a NW1? That counts for a lot more than we think. Us men can't really judge average or slightly above average or 7 or 8 for a man. A NW1 is by definition above average and set for life. If he dresses well or has the right facial hair style or takes a few chances with cold approaches (one of this list) then he's way above average and bound to do well. The standards aren't as high as we think and the competition are not that impressive. We're just that undesirable as NW5+ men.

That girl is in my opinion one nose job away from being a minor pop star or Disney actress.

So to answer your question, statistically speaking, it's improbable. There aren't that many girls with that degree of facial harmony and femininity.

Keep in mind I don't know what you look like so I'm not saying this as a slam against you personally. I'm just saying that thinking this girl is "attainable" because she's not drenched in makeup and has one slight facial flaw is not being realistic.

If you lined up a pro photo of her face against 100 other girls she'd be top 5% with no effort. With a subtle nose job to refine the tip of her nose and makeup, she'd be top 1%. She might even be top 1% just with makeup.

Her facial fundamentals are great. Very neotenous as well and in her prime years.

Im actually with the other guy, dont find her particularly attractive. Lagged in makeup and is less attractive than the other 50,000 instabimbos out there. Shes okay, shes definately not a 9(7 or 8 at a push)

Well to clarify, you said she was not "model tier", and I would agree but only just barely. She could absolutely do some minor work if she's tall enough.

But she could definitely be any type of mid level model with a small nosejob. My point isn't that she needs a nosejob (if I was her I certainly wouldn't bother). I was just saying that she's far more beautiful in my opinion than you are giving her credit for. Her harmony is to my taste exceptional.

I think you are over-rationalizing things a bit with the harmony approach.
Beauty is not geometry.
Beauty is intuition.
It's what the person emitts as a personality that defines attractiveness...The aura, so to say.

I got two dates for this weekend but they're probably going to be canceled. One of them is ok-looking and younger than me, the other is hot and older than me, so I'm less enthusiastic about her. I cancelled a date to go see a wrinkle in time last week to work on something, it was important.

I'm trying to grow a beard, and separately, I went to my hairdresser today. She went on several times about how she liked my shirt, my shoes, and that the hair on the side of my head seemed darker. She said that she could polish my beard and give it a better shape by removing the thin parts. Afterwards she took some photos of me to add to her instagram, she's a hairdresser so she likes taking pictures of her clients. Behold ! Compensatory beard game:

It's a weird thing online, it's not true of all men but true of many, that we often downplay the beauty of various women. It's partially "internet tough guy" syndrome, and partially the fact that when we are only we're saturated with images of beautiful women. We recently had people here claiming that Jeff Bezos and his wife are looks-matched.

I think that a lot of people are in for a wake up call if they go to some downtown area of any major city, sit on a bench and just look at the average person. We forget how plain, flawed, etc. the median person out there can be. Beauty is not the norm, it cannot be the norm by definition.

A while back a poster here was rating this and that woman as 5.75/10, etc. I got on an airplane that day at the Dallas Forth Worth airport, a major flight and I walked by what must have been hundreds of people. I realized that not a single one of them would be 7+/10 according to the standards of some on this forum. That's several hundred people, spanning the middle and upper-middle classes, who were uniformly undesirable according to the internet experts. That's an indictment of the internet experts.

That woman is definitely beautiful. I can't tell you if she's top 2% or top 4%, but she's up there. She's not below the standards of any men here, most likely she would turn down every man here as she already has multiple options. Most likely we would not even make it to a position where we could ask her out.

75+ years ago, most people didn't ever see that many beautiful people in their entire lives. They might know one or two really good looking guys or girls from work. But you'd probably easily go your entire life without seeing a guy like prime Henry Cavill or Brad Pitt, or seeing a girl like Candice Swanepoel or Natalie Portman.

I was reflecting on Ashton Kutcher and how honest he was in his duta interview when he said "Pretty much all the roles I've gotten were from how I looked" (paraphrasing). I don't think I've ever met a single guy IRL as good looking as Asthon Kutcher in my entire life. If I did, maybe I saw one across the room at a club and forgot about it one time.

Beauty is EXCEEDINGLY rare, but we are bombarded with it through TV and now even moreso through the Internet. The Internet amplifies things to an insane degree because now not only are we seeing the most beautiful people, but the most beautiful pictures from the most beautiful people. ie. If you go on a site like 4chan (not recommended), you could find a "fap" thread where guys are just posting not only the most beautiful girl they have a picture of, but an unrealistically flattering picture of that girl with camera angles/lighting/etc all coming together to create the best single image of her that she will likely have in her entire lifetime.

It's no wonder all our minds are rotten and we've all gone to sh*t and can't function within the constrains of "normal" dating.

There have been studies that have shown male high school teachers have a higher rate of divorce than they ought to based on the general statistics. It's generally assumed this is due to the "comparison effect" which is a vicious bugger that can mess you up in many areas of life if you're not careful. The simple idea is, you might be happy with your wife, but you're going to be less happy with her when you spend all day surrounded by 17 year old girls who are thinner and more physically perfect than her in likely almost every way.

The Internet has been like that for us all. Only much, much worse. Wait til VR p**rn becomes interactive.
