So i would have to spend thousands of dollars and waste a lot time just for a tiny chance of banging an ugly girl? Even better, I would be mocked anyway! Yeah, totally worth it! If i can't be at least 6, then it's of no use, i would be mocked and rejected anyway....

The 3-5 numbers were just hypothetically, maybe you can be an 8, who knows? Better to have a plan than to sit around being depressed, especially if that plan involves improving general health, which is likely to help your seemingly bad mood.

If you can get to a 5 then you can fit in.

5 is average...like most men.

If you were a 5 you wouldn't stand out as unappealing
because you would be about the same as most guys.

The guys who have the real problems are the guys
who are 4s and under.

I'm in a bit of a pickle myself regarding my upcoming transplant and a female.

There's a female who's expressed interest in me I'm thinking about pursuing, but she's the daughter of a family friend, so I can't just hook up with her and move on. It's pretty much be in a relationship with her or nothing. But starting up something serious concerns me given that I have a transplant scheduled in January. I'm not sure how I'd hide that....disappear for like a week without telling her where I'm going or what I'm doing, and come back with my head looking weird as sh*t, wearing a hat 100% of the time for the next few months...

smh

Just book a "solo vacation" near the location you are getting an hair transplant. Say you'll be gone for 2-3 weeks. Every man has the right to alone time. When I am dating women, I go on solo camping trips and such sometimes. If they are paranoid, or think you're up to something weird, they can mind their business and f*ck off.

I salute your attitude.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Women need to give men some personal space.

Only controlling women do not understand this.

Exactly... controlling women are jealous women are insecure women. No one, especially those suffering with things like Androgenetic Alopecia, needs women dictating their every move.

I don't have the money to spare to actually take a vacation after the procedure lol. I also can't just pretend I'm away, because I live with my parents, and this girl is related to my mom's friend who comes over a lot. If I date this girl, there's pretty much no hiding with my current situation...and no I can't just move out either lol. I can only afford the hair transplant in the first place because I'm living with my parents right now.

There's no way in f*ck I'm telling any woman I'm looking to get involved with that I treat my hairloss, let alone that I'm getting a hair transplant. I don't see anyway around it, I can't date this girl right now.

Imagine if you were beautiful like Zyzz?

Gain muscle mass, maybe lose body fat. Put on a wig. Go to a dentist/orthodontist. Work on systemic health to less dark circles and facial edema. Look into various facial surgeries. Try various drugs to fix skin if better general health doesn't do the trick.
Maybe you'll go from a 3 to a 5, or whatever. You'll probably never "slay" hot girls, but I'm almost sure you can get yourself to a point of not being hideous(assuming you are now).
Great advice IMO.

Put it this way, it wont make you look worse. it will only make you look better.

They are getting closer and closer to treatments for so many things, including cosmetic things. And you may not need all of these cosmetic problems cured in order to feel somewhat better. Each cosmetic problem you get solved makes you feel a little bit better.

Did you know they can already make people taller by some inches? They break the patient's leg bones and then stretch the patient's leg bones. More and more guys are already doing it. Most men can EASILY gain a few inches but it does take a few months to complete the process and there are risks. And there is always the cheaper option - elevator shoes can give you some inches of believable height. And elevator shoes aren't like hairpieces because it's very doubtful you would get caught wearing elevator shoes. I'm 5'9 and when I have my hair I do great with women so my present problem is not my height. It's my hair. But I would be willing to wear up to 3 inch elevator shoes and go to a club with you if we both got our hair back. I wouldn't mind wearing elevator shoes because nobody is going to catch me.

Height extension surgery requires 6-12 months of recovery and physiotherapy, and ~$60,000 in cash.

Not a great recommendation.

They break your thighs (might be the shins), and then they grow back longer.

It's based exactly on how growth happens before puberty. Your bones grow as long as there are bone plates between them, once those plates are gone (around age 20) you stop growing.

This surgery works by creating space in your leg bones, so all of the growth is in your legs.

It's the greatest cope of all to resign yourself to mediocrity, to keep telling yourself
"What's the point? Nothing will ever get better"
It's easy that way, you don't have to try. Trying is hard work - and comes with the risk of failure. Remove the burden of responsibility from yourself by blaming all of your problems and shortcomings on genetics, society, women...whatever helps you sleep at night. Tuck yourself into bed at night and convince yourself there's nothing you could've done anyway. Cope.

For some people there may be no point in trying to get with women, and they are better off doing other things.

Dante92 claims to be that guy. None of us can know without seeing him in person and even then we would need a correct world view to evaluate his prospects.

The article says 3 - 6 months to complete the surgery. The 6-12 months time-frame would likely include the post-operative physical therapy. Your case might be a 6-month case. If you're a 6-month case half a year of your life and you could be 4 - 6 inches taller if things go smooth. And of course it's going to be expensive...it's heavy surgery.

Why did the article say 3 months?

Also, 6-12 months means that the entire process could take 6 months, which would include the post-operative physical therapy. Half a year and you get 4 - 6 inches if things go right. Of course it's going to be expensive.

So go take it then.

This surgery works by creating space in your leg bones, so all of the growth is in your legs.

Since it would lengthen his legs it would be especially appealing on someone who looks kind of stubby before the surgery.

Why should I change something that doesn't need to be changed? I'm 5'9" &
5'9" is within the average range. If I have my hair, 5'9" will work fine and I know
this because when I had my hair I had the most women of all the guys in every
town I was in.

If I was 5'2" or 5'3" or 5'4" or 5'5" or even 5'6" I might do it. But from 5'7" and above
I would not do it. I would just wear shoes with a slight elevator effect if I was 5'7" or
5'8"...and maybe 5'6". A woman would not necessarily find out for many months
(or even years) because once my shoes start coming off I'm usually sitting on the bed
talking with her or already lying on the bed with her and starting to undress. But at 5'9"
I don't have much use for elevator shoes.

Still, I would not be one bit self-conscious about wearing elevator shoes if I was
5'6" or 5'7" or 5'8".If I was shorter than that I would consider the surgery and I
would go to the best doctor doing the surgery and would make sure I was in
good enough health before doing the surgery.

You want to know my aesthetic flaws: I'll tell you the most "important" ones:

-I'm short
-I'm balding (Norwood 4, severe recession)
-crooked teeth and bad skin
-dark circles and swollen face
-I'm a skinny ectomorph
-asymmetrical face, no good facial features, (e.g. huge forehead, very big nose)

How short?

FYI I also had messed up teeth, including missing teeth in front (congenital). I was close to 30 when I researched and underwent orthodontic treatment, and then later dental implants (plural). Genetics never really gave me a chance. But I still fight.
